Saint Street Inn is a restaurant & bar that prepares the food with local ingredients. From the farm to the table. One of the things that I thought was amazing was that she said that the meats are hormone free. The animals are only feed vegetables. I love that they patronage local suppliers. From the fruits, veggies to the seafood & meats all come from local businesses.
I started with a Strawberry Agua Fresca (non-alcoholic) which a fresh water strawberry drink. The drink was absolutely refreshing. I could have drank that all day long outside chilling on a nice hammock! Saint Street offers different fresh water, original drinks(Non-Alcoholic) each day.
Everything on the menu sounded so good! I decided on the Saint Street Club which is thin-sliced roasted turkey with fresh avocado, you can choose from lettuce or sprouts, it also comes with tomatoes, bacon and your choice of cheddar or fire jack cheese on sourdough. It also comes with a side of either fries or a salad. The sandwich was so good! The portion of meat was perfect. It wasn’t too skimpy or overly stacked but perfect. The turkey was nice and moist. This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The fresh avocado added a nice flavor to the sandwich. The fries were amazing. Not greasy, light, topped with cheese and salt and pepper. Delicious.
The gave me more than enough food. I went home with a doggie bag. If you have never been to Saint Street Inn. You owe it to yourself to go and try this amazing food!!
Saint Street in is located at 407 Brook Ave, near the UL campus. Right down the street from Old Tyme Grocery. The location is in a great place. The restaurant reminds me of an old time farm house. My favorite part of the restaurant is the outdoor screened patio where you can sit outside & enjoy the array of sunshine or watch the sunset.
Saint Street is open Tuesdays-Saturdays. Lunch time is from 11am-2pm; they are also open nightly from 6pm-11pm on Thursdays-Saturdays. There is a different menu for night time. So if you are looking for a nice restaurant for date night I highly recommend this place. Great service, comfortable setting, friendly environment and scrumptious food!!

I must say, I would have very skeptical of this place from the looks of the outside. I guess that's why they say never judge a book by it's cover. The food really did look delicious!!!
Food was delicious friend. The drink was so refreshing. I wasn't sure what u expect either. But definitely a great spot to eat!!!
Ugghhh we need to go together to try that sandwich. Advocado is absolutely one of my favorite things. YUM!
