I am continuing my blog post of the Gaylord Texan. The second day we enjoyed our day at the DFW Car Show. I will talk more about the DFW Car Show in a later post.

Again, let me apologize for hopping around. Certain blog post have deadlines and have to get those out a little sooner than others. I promise each blog will be worth the read. Thanks again for the patience and support of Da’ Stylish Foodie. Without your support, I wouldn’t be where I am now.

I am humbled by the success that I have seen in a short period of time!  The best is yet to come!

Zeppole Italian Cuisine is an Italian restaurant located in the beautiful Gaylord Texan in Grapevine Texas. The restaurant serves Italian dishes, seafood & wine in a casual setting within the atrium at the Gaylord Texan Resort.

As we walked through the Atrium making our way to the restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant had a beautiful brick exterior. Surrounded by beautiful flowers and water features.

We walked in and the restaurant was completely packed. Unfortunately we didn’t make reservations because we weren’t sure what time we would return from the car show.

Luckily there were a few seats available in the bar area. We were seated in the bar area. The bartender immediately greeted us and offered us something to drink.

I asked for a fruity mocktail and the hubby went with a regular lemonade. The fruity mocktail was prepared wonderfully. The perfect mixture. He was obviously an experienced mixologist. So good!

We perused the menu and quickly decided on our appetizer.

For our appetizer we ordered the Clams. They were served in a rich sauce. The Cherrystone Farm little neck clams with house-cured pancetta and garlic-tomato saffron white wine.  The sauce was very flavorful.  The clams were prepared perfectly. Served with delicious bread for dipping. A really good choice for an appetizer. So good!

The hubby ordered the Pork Osso Bucco. A slow-roasted pork shank with rosemary-roasted shallots, a white wine glaze, Parmigiano whipped potatoes and asparagus. This dish was presented well. Gorgeous plating. The Pork Osso Bucco was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Amazing dish!

I ordered the Lobster Gnoochi. OMG!!! This dish was my absolute favorite dish of the night.  As well as during our stay. The Lobster Gnoochi included potato dumplings with lobster claw & meat, onions, Fontina & Parmigiano cream.

We ordered dessert to go. The Cannolo Siciliano. The Sicilian cannoli was served with fresh ricotta, vanilla, honey, fresh berries, chocolate, strawberry sauce. Wooo! The best cannoli I ever had! So good.
Overall the restaurant was beautiful. A nice setting and relaxing environment. The food was superb. Every single dish that we had was amazing! A great place to dine while at the Gaylord.
