Donuts are for the weekend right?  Well not really, any day is a good for a donut.  A few weeks ago I stopped in at Sugar Avenue.

Sugar Avenue serves artisan donuts, coffee, cakes, kolaches and stuffed breakfast items.  One of the things that impressed me about Sugar Avenue is there keto friendly and gluten free items.

I stopped in to pick up some donuts for my family.  The owners are both really sweet. Some of the items that they serve are sausage and cheese kolaches, philly cheese steak stuffed pastries, the potato bacon deluxe, muffins, quiche, bread loaf, and an assortment of donuts and pastries and cake.

Here are a few of the flavors of donuts we tried and loved.

The Maple Bacon donut was everything.  From the presentation to the flavor of the donut.  So good.  This salty and sweet combination was superb.

The Reese’s Cup was delicious.  A chocolate glaze donut filled with a creamy filing and topped with Reese’s.

The Strawberry Cheesecake was another favorite.  A donut stuffed with strawberry filing topped with a crumbled crust and a fresh strawberry.

The M&M donut was a kick with my kiddos.  A simple donut but topped with M&M’s. Yummy.

Almond Joy was a chocolate donut with coconut.  Just like the Almond Joy candy. Good creations.

The presentation of the S’mores donut was spot on.  A chocolate donut with crumbled graham crackers and marshmallows.  Another delicious donut.

We also tried the kolaches.  The sausage and cheese kolaches were yummy.  My kids enjoyed these.

I tried the Philly Cheese Steak stuffed biscuit/kolaches.  Just like a Philly cheesesteak. So good.

My husband had the potato bacon deluxe which was stuffed with potatoes, cheese, eggs and bacon.  A very filling option.

I also purchased a slice of cake.  The cake that day was a vanilla cake filled with strawberry Swiss meringue and oat crumble.  Very different but the cake was good.  I loved the different textures in this cake.

Overall, the items purchased from Sugar Avenue was delicious.  Sugar Avenue is a great spot for ordering to go items, to catch up with friends, a work spot  or for afternoon treat for the kiddos.

The service was great.  The owners were very nice.
