My mom is here visiting for a few weeks and she arrived mid-morning on Wednesday. She was hungry so we decided to check out Snooze Eatery in the Heights.

Snooze AN A.M. Eatery is a breakfast spot changing the typical breakfast items into culinary masterpieces. Since arriving here in Houston, Snooze has come highly recommended.

We decided to check out their new location in the Heights. As we approached the restaurant, the orange accents were very eye catching.

The color pallet of the restaurant was bright and vibrant.

It was a nice day so we decided to sit outside.

The waiter arrived at our table to take our drink orders. I decided on Orange juice.

My mom tried the Caramel Latte. She enjoyed the coffee.

The menu had so many dishes that sounded amazing. We started with the Snooze Spud Deluxe. A mound of hash browns, topped with melted cheddar and jack cheese, scallions, bacon, topped with two eggs and pico de gallo.

This dish was huge. A hearty and flavorful dish. Really good.

My mom loves Reuben Sandwiches. Snooze Eatery has a sandwich called the Peter Paul Rubens. The sandwich was made with a mound of artisan corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese and Snooze’s house 1,000 Island dressing. Served on a massive pretzel roll.

This sandwich was amazing!! The pretzel roll added an additional layer to the flavor profile of this sandwich. My mom is an expert on Reuben Sandwiches and she was super impressed with this sandwich.

I love Pancakes so the Pancake Flight was the way to go! The flight includes your pancakes of choice. I chose the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, The Coco-Nana and the Blueberry Danish.

First, the Pineapple Upside Down pancake. This pancake is a buttermilk pancakes with caramelized pineapple chunks in the pancake, a house-made vanilla cream and cinnamon butter. Delicious.

Secondly, the Coco-Nana is a banana pancake filled with white chocolate chips, topped with house-made vanilla creme, whipped mascarpone, macerated strawberries, sticky coconut and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

The Chocolate lover will love this pancake.

And last but not least, the Blueberry Danish was my favorite. Oh my word!! Delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it again.

The Blueberry Danish Pancake consisted of a buttermilk pancake.  Topped with blueberry coulis (sauce), sweet cream and almond streusel and lemony cream cheese filling. My goodness… I need more of this.

Overall, Snooze Eatery was impressive. The dishes were all on point. Creative dishes that were over the top with flavor. Definitely a must try spot with a cool vibe.
