In our home, Family Nights are on Fridays. We live such a busy life during the week that we try our best to be intentional about spending time as a family.
Our kiddos both love Painting. We decided to find a paint studio that we could go and enjoy as a family.
To our surprise there was one 8 minutes from our home. We had no clue. The kiddos were excited.
Color Me Mine is a Painting Studio where you can paint your own ceramics.
We arrived at Color Me Mine and there was a young lady waiting to welcome us and walk us through the process.
She shared with us about the cost of the ceramics, types of paints and brushes.
There were so many ceramics to choose from.
Sizes ranging from small to the larger ones that take more time and more meticulous. There was something for everyone.
Items like Coffee Mugs.
Dragons, Unicorns, Animals.
Cars, Trains, Marvel characters, etc..
Many different paint colors to choose from.
Everyone chooses their item of choice and we found a table to sit at. On the table was water in a bowl to rinse the brushes, a display with the paint colors and numbers for each paint, a ceramic holder for a variety of paint options as well as pencils and markers. Let’s Go!
Our son chose a Firetruck, he is obsessed with Fire Trucks.
Baby Girl decided on a dog. Anyone who knows her, knows how much she loves animals.
My husband decided on a massive Wolverine Ceramic. He loves comics.
As the Coffee Lover of the family, a Coffee mug in the shape of a donut seemed like the right choice. Two of my favorite things. So, it was a no brainier.
We picked our colors for each of our items and the lady filled our ceramic holders with paint.
As we painted and needed more one of the workers were kind enough to be sure that our paints were refilled as needed.
Great customer service.
We worked diligently to finish up and enjoyed our time together at Color Me Mine. Talking, laughing and just having a fun time.
Good music was playing as well.
Once we were done painting our items, the young lady took our items and it would later go through the next steps glazing and firing.
In 5 – 7 days we would be able to pick up our creations. YAY! How fun.
The call came to pick up our items. The kids were so excited. So while they were at school, I stopped in to pick up the ceramics.
The lady showed me each item. The ceramics came out really nice.
Wolverine was probably my favorite. My hubby did a good job.
The puppy dog my daughter created was adorable.
The little man’s firetruck came out good. He did a good job for his first time painting ceramics.
I love my coffee mug. Donut you just love Coffee??
Overall, Color Me Mine Cypress was so much fun. We had a fun night out as a family. Color Me Mine offers a fun atmosphere and environment for the entire family.
