Honey BBQ Wings are my favorite Chicken Wings.  I love a good sticky honey bbq wing.  I am recreating my version of a sticky wing with an Asian twist.  Instead of honey and sugar I am using the KetoseSweet Liquid and the KetoseSweet all-natural sweetener.

A yummy wing with a healthier option without the additional sugar and calories.

Recipe Notes

Preheat the Oven to 400 degrees.

Season the chicken with your spices of choice.  I use my own spice blend which is totally a secret.  But could be coming to a cookbook near you one day.

Grate ginger. Set aside.

Slice lemon and lime in 4. Set aside.

Place the chicken in a baking pan.

Spray the chicken with the Pam Olive Oil. Add the lemon and lime slices.

Bake for 15 minutes.

While the chicken is baking.

In a sauce pan, add 8 tbsp of unsalted butter,  the juice of a lemon and a lime, ginger, Soy Sauce, KetoseSweet Sugar, KetoseSweet Liquid Sugar and garlic powder.  Cook on low and stir occasionally.

After baking for 15 minutes.  Broil the chicken for 2 minutes in the oven.

Remove from the oven an set aside.

If the sauce is not thick enough, mix together 4 tbsp of unsalted butter and 3 tbsp of gluten free flour to make a blonde mix roux.  Add to the sauce to thicken the wing sauce.  Mix for 1 - 2 minutes on low.

Remove from heat.

Toss wings in the sauce.

Layer the plate with lettuce of choice. Top with the chicken wings.

Garnish the wings with sliced jalapeños and fresh cilantro.
