We have seen some gorgeous days lately. Pretty days are perfect for Patio dining. My hubby and I tried a new spot in Katy, TX, Fish City Grill.
Fish City Grill is a Seafood Restaurant whose goals are to serve great seafood from made from scratch recipes at reasonable prices. As well as offering top notch service to each customer.
My husband and I visited Fish City Grill on a Friday afternoon for a lunch date. Fish City Grill has three patio areas. One with open air, uncovered, one with seating with umbrellas and a covered patio area. Each patio has different views.
We took a seat and our waiter arrived right away. He was polite, kind and very welcoming. He asked us if we had dined with their restaurant before. We told him no and he proceeded to share details about the restaurant and food offerings.
We started with an appetizer, Oyster Nachos. The oyster nachos appetizers included fried oysters with chipotle tartar sauce and fresh pico de gallo served on tortilla chips. This appetizer was amazing. So flavorful. Very different and creative.
The pico de gallo added such a fresh element to this dish. Great balance of flavors.
Fish City Grill has soups and salads. The Crab Bisque sounded so good, so we tried this soup. The Crab Bisque was perfect for a cool day. The bisque was very tasty and quite flavorful. Served with toasted french bread. Really yummy.
My husband ordered the Shrimp & Crab Stuffed Flounder. This dish was really pretty. Beautifully plated. The Flounder was stuffed with shrimp and crab. Topped with a caper dill beurre blanc sauce. Served with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes.
This dish was crazy delicious. A Perfectly prepared fish dish.
I ordered the Herb Crusted Cod Oscar. The Cod fish was pan seared and topped with asparagus, a fresh hollandaise sauce and lump crab. Served on a bed of mashed potatoes.
The exterior of this fish was crispy and paired perfectly with the hollandaise sauce. This dish was absolutely superb.
Overall Fish City Grill was delicious. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was one of the best we’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable about the restaurant and dishes. Each dish was beautifully presented.
The patio area was nice. I love the area of their restaurant. Fish City Grill has a few different patio areas to choose from which is perfect during this time.

Fish City Grill is located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. Katy, TX 77494. The Hours of Operation are Sunday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. and Friday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
