Chicken Shawarma with Afia
We are in the season of busy. Both of my kids are currently in their Fall Sports which means a change in our schedules. One thing I work hard to do is making sure we have home cooked meals nightly. It requires planning on my part to make sure this happens.I had the opportunity to work with a new brand called “Afia”. Afia is company that creates Mediterranean Spices. The spices are all non-go, no preservatives. Available in 3 spice blends, Shawarma, Za’atar and Baharat 7 spice.Today’s recipe is Chicken Shawarma Skewers with the Shawarma seasoning.

My favorite drink to quench my thirst is Fruit Refreshers. I love Fruit refreshers. There are so many Coffee shops and drink shops that create their own versions of fruit refreshers. I don’t alway have time to travel to my favorite shops to get one so I found ways to create my own at home. Here is my newest one that I love, Dragon Fruit Refresher. Really yummy. Buffalo Chicken Salad
A popular game day delight is Buffalo chicken wings. Typically fried wings served with french fries, celery and carrots. Well I decided to switch up our normal game day buffalo chicken wings meal with a healthier version, my Buffalo Chicken salad. This salad was one of my favorite salads that I have prepared in a long time. So easy and the perfect week day meal that can be prepped ahead of time with the exception of the chicken. This salad was tasty, filled with lots of textures and delicious well-balanced flavors. So good. A healthy meal for any day of the week!

Green beans and potatoes were a staple in our home growing up. It was in our rotation weekly. But as a side dish. Well this Cajun Green Beans can be eaten as a meal or a side dish. 17th Birthday Dinner
Our daughter is officially 17. It’s hard to believe that we are here. I can still remember her as a little girl playing with her toys. Now she’s older, driving and has a social calendar. Oh my, yes a social calendar. She is busy.
