Last Summer we cruised on Royal Caribbean for the first time. It had been over 5 years since I’ve cruised. It seemed like the right time to book a cruise. I have to be honest I’m glad that we did.

My son had never been on a cruise so we wanted him to have that experience.

We have cruised several cruise lines but never Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean is a very family, friendly cruise line. I have to say that out of all of the cruises I’ve done this cruise line is at the top of the list. I’ve cruised both as an influencer and also a paying customer. In the past, I’ve cruised Carnival (several times), Princess, Disney Cruise and now Royal Caribbean.

Here are a few of our favorite spots on Harmony of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, Central Park  and Johnny Rockets

In the meantime, check out a few of our port stops, Costa Maya , Roatan and Cozumel  . Today’s blog post is all about my birthday dinner. I celebrated a birthday on the cruise. Instead of dining at the Royal Dining room, my husband booked us a dinner at Wonderland.

Wonderland is an imaginative dining and culinary experience. This sounds fancy and let me tell you it was. This dinner was a James Beard worthy dining experience. We love eating out, but not just a basic dining experience, we love a fancy meal.

Wonderland was definitely all of that. Wonderland is an additional cost, but so worth it.  The restaurant is an Alice in Wonderland themed dining experience. With the dishes they definitely push the envelope with culinary creations.

One thing I will say right away, I do think the waiter or waitress can make or break how much you enjoy your dining experience.

It’s a dining experience for sure! A very whimiscal ambiance.

We were greeted and escorted to our seat by the Mad Hatter.

The experience is too good not show video. This was the perfect birthday dining experience.

Full details about the entire dining experience is here

Let me say if you are planning to travel this summer and want something cool to do a cruise is a great way to go!! Royal Caribbean is amazing. We loved our experience. Visit Travelwithdsf or dastylishfoodie15 for more information on Travel.
