As I’m getting older I’m trying to work on adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet. I juiced a watermelon and made my own fresh fruit juice. So so good.

Mother’s Day weekend my husband and daughter took me to a new restaurant called Lillie Mae’s Cajun Kitchen in Katy, TX. What a great dining experience. Our waitress Diamond was amazing. The feel of the restaurant was like grandma’s or an auntie’s house. You can hear chatter and laughter through out the restaurant.

Fish Fry Friday just got better. I purchased my husband a new outdoor fryer. Spring is here and we love cooking outside. This new fryer from Outdoor Gourmet. The fryer is a Double-Basket Jet Fryer. This makes frying so much easier. My husband can fry it all one batch. Plus I love that we can do it outside. This fryer is worth every penny.

I purchased it from academy but it’s sold out. I know why! But there are a few other similar fryers. I’ve linked a few to my LTK. More details on this product and others available on the blog post.

The early part of our week is usually our busiest. Normally I prepare easy meals. These Cheesy Taquitos were so easy to prepare. On top of that it was delicious. My kids were looking for more. One of the quickest but tastiest meals. No need to stop for fast food. Make this like fast food meal at home.

Kickstarting my week with a NEW Salad recipe. This Salmon Pasta Salad was so good. Fun fact about me, I don’t love salads. But I have found ways to prepare salads that have become some of my favorites. Now I love toppings. Having different textures in my salads make for a more enjoyable salad. This Salmon pasta salad was a hit even with my kids. I usually don’t use arugula because it’s not a salad we use. But arugula paired perfectly with this dish.

Wonderland is an imaginative dining and culinary experience. This sounds fancy and let me tell you it was. This dinner was a James Beard worthy dining experience. We love eating out, but not just a basic dining experience, we love a fancy meal.

Wonderland was definitely all of that. Wonderland is an additional cost, but so worth it. The restaurant is an Alice in Wonderland themed dining experience. With the dishes they definitely push the envelope with culinary creations.

For those who maybe new here, I’m an H-E-B brand fan. I love sharing some of my favorite dishes with H-E-B products. I recently prepared a Cajun Pasta. This was an easy meal that I prepared in under 30 minutes. The recipe required only a few simple ingredients. This dish is sauce, tasty and is a cajun-ified dish.

Fish Sandwiches are one of my favorite ways to eat fish. There are a few places locally that I love to eat Fish Sandwiches. Every fish sandwich should consist of good bread, a delicious condiment, crispy fish, crispy pickles, lettuce, tomatoes.
I picked up a new condiment the NEW Jalapeno Mayo from McCormick. This mayo is so good! Only a few simple ingredients made this delicious fish sandwich. So good!!

It’s officially Crawfish season. Me like many others, I love when Crawfish season comes around. I want all things Crawfish. One of the easiest things to cook is Crawfish étouffée. I have a few versions of my étouffée. But I took a shortcut with a product from Slap ya Mama called their Cajun Étouffée sauce. These étouffée sauce makes it so easy for anyone to make Crawfish étouffée. I added a few extra things to mine but it’s delicious as is. @slapyamama
