Easy recipes are my go to with our busy life and schedules. But I never want to sacrifice flavor or tastiness for a good meal. I typically try to use a few ingredients and create new recipes. Well I purchased a new rice cooker and I decided to try this Rice Cooker Crawfish Rice. My new digital rice cooker prepared the Crawfish Rice perfectly. This was an easy recipe for any busy night.

Rice Cooker Crawfish Rice 

Ingredients:

  • Crawfish tails – 1 pack
  • Seafood Stock – 1 cup
  • Washed rice – 1 cup
  • Butter – cut into pieces 1  tbsp
  • Slap ya mama (desired amount)
  • Old Bay seasoning (desired amount)
  • Trinity – onions, bell peppers, celery – 1 – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh dill –  1 – 2 tbsp

Directions:

  1. Wash the rice. Drain.
  2. Add in the rice to rice cooker.
  3. Drain the crawfish tails, season with slap ya mama. Set aside.
  4. Add in the Seafood stock.
  5. Add in the onions, bell peppers and celery. Stir.
  6. Add in the butter.
  7. Add in Old bay seasoning. Stir.
  8. Close the lid. Cook the rice according to the cooker. If you use the Cosori rice cooker. I used the long grain white rice setting with regular texture. Shop the Cosori rice cooker here
  9. Once cooked, fluff the rice and finish with fresh dill.
  10. Enjoy
