While in Arlington, TX the family and I went to the mall and did some shopping. After a busy afternoon of shopping we decided to eat at Ninja Ramen. I had been craving Ramen since we left home.  And Ramen is one of those meals that the entire family loves.

Ninja Ramen is the first traditional, ramen shop serving the local community in Arlington, TX. and surrounding cities.  Serving Japanese-style and traditional ramen with the best ingredients. Ninja Ramen provides a nice and comfortable atmosphere for you to enjoy ramen and other specialty foods with friends and family.

We selected a large table and were seated. As we looked around, we loved the feel of the restaurant. A very authentic Japanese look with wooden accents throughout the restaurant.

The waiter came immediately and took our drink order.  I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Strawberry Ramune which is a Japanese Drink.  Similar to a carbonated flavored soda. Pretty good.

My husband and the little guy love Edamame so we ordered some.

For those who may not know, Edamame is a boiled soybean that’s season with sea salt. Available regular or spicy.

In addition, we ordered Gyoza Dumplings. The Gyoza was pork dumplings with a dipping sauce. The dumplings were pan-fried and served with a soy dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious.  My daughter ate most of the first batch so we had to order another.

After perusing the menu, everyone knew what they wanted.

For the little guy, we ordered a Kid Oyako Don. A rice bowl with steamed rice topped with chicken and a fried egg. The chicken was battered and fried. The bowl also had shredded cucumbers as well. A good choice for the little one.

Baby girl had the Kid’s Miso soup.  A pork based soup with curly noodles, corn, sliced pork, an egg and green onions.  A simple yet yummy choice for baby girl.  She loved it.

My husband ordered a Poke Bowl.  We had never tried a Poke bowl, so we were so excited to try one.  He chose the Shuriken which was a bowl with white rice, crabmeat salad, avocado, scallop, masago, baby lobster, buttered corn, baked ichimi, cajun sauce, sesame seeds, green onions and wonton chips. Oh my word!!!! This Poke Bowl was everything.  The best thing we ate the whole time we were in Arlington, TX. Delicious.

My stepdaughter had the Tantan Ramen which was a ramen bowl with Ground Pork, chili bean sauce, bean sprouts, green onions and an egg. This dish was spicy, but very delicious.  I loved the spiciness of the broth.

Just an FYI: If you have an allergy to peanuts or sesame don’t order this dish.

I ordered the Tsukemen, which was a dipping ramen served in a pork based broth with thick noodles, ground pork, onions, green onions, an egg, chashu, nori, fish powder and a lime.

Beautifully presented and flavorful. The noodles are meant to be dipped in the broth. Really good.

Overall the quality of food we received was amazing.  The food exceeded our expectations.  Everything was served pipping hot.  The service was spot on.  The waiter and waitress met our needs in a timely manner.

While dining at Ninja Ramen we noticed waitresses going in and out to a building next door.  We weren’t sure why and we didn’t ask.  But we soon found out.

When we got to the car and decided that we wanted dessert.  I had noticed a sign that said Royal Tea on the building right next to Ninja Ramen.  The girls and I decided to go and see what it was.  I will share more about Royal Tea in my next blog post. You have to come back and read all about it. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
