A few weeks ago I celebrated 2 years of my blog, Da’ Stylish Foodie. It was a week of reflections, appreciations, celebrating the blessings and looking back at the victories and open doors that I have experienced.
With any venture there will be moments of success as well as failures, disappoints and let downs. But I have been abundantly blessed and seen tremendous doors open for me.
I have some big ideas and opportunities that are coming before me. I will begin sharing these new ventures in bits and pieces.
Change is coming and I am stoked to tell you guys all about it.
Do me a favor and share this blog and help me get more and more people following me. If you aren’t following my blog you are missing out.
Be sure to follow me on Instagram as well @dastylishfoodie15. I share so much more on that social platform than my others.
I can’t wait, I am so excited as I sit and type this to see all that will come forth this year.
Well I want to give you a short glimpse on how I celebrated Da’ Stylish Foodie turning 2.
I started my morning with coffee at home and flowers from my favorite people, my family. I love them so much. As they support me through this process. They travel with me, they come eat with me, they try all of my food creations at home. I am so blessed with an amazing family.
It has been a joy this past year to be able to attend events with them as well, that we have personally been invited too. Such a blessing.
I continued my morning at one of my favorite Coffee Shops, Reve Coffee Lab. For those who may not know Reve Coffee Lab, has some of the best Coffee and Pastries in town. I love the atmosphere, environment, food and service.
I headed to RiverSpa which is not far from Reve Coffee Lab. RiverSpa has the best service and customer service when it comes to Pedicures, Manicures and Massages. One of my favorite Spas in town.
I love that when you check in, you are taken to a waiting area, that helps you to enter a relax mode. I enjoyed some of the delicious fruit infused water and relaxed while waiting to be called for my service.
RiverSpa is appointment only. I visited for a Shellac Manicure. My manicurist was amazing. She was friendly, funny and super sweet. She took great care of me and I left completely satisfied. My nails and nail color was gorgeous.
After my Manicure, I needed to run a few errands before heading to lunch.
I decided to dine at TAO. TAO is absolutely gorgeous. I have eaten there several times and I am still mesmerized by the beauty of the dining area when you walk in. I have a special table I love to sit at, but it was occupied when I arrived.
I ordered a few items from their new menu. But I did order my normal, the Sunrise Mocktail.
My first dish was the Seaweed Salad. Oh so good! One of my favorite dishes.
I also tried the new Curried Meat Pie served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The Meat Pie was filled with a Savory Thai Curry Spiced Pork. So good.
I finished my evening with my family. One of my favorite dishes, Fried fish topped with Crawfish Étouffée over a bed of rice. Amazing. What a great end to what was an amazing day.
I want to take a minute and thank all of my family, friends and followers who have supported me these past two years. I want to Thank You so much! I am extremely blessed by your words of encouragement and your support. The best is yet to come.
Be on the look out for big announcements coming soon!
