My husband and I were out taking care of business for our new home about a month ago and we wanted to find a place to grab a bite to eat.
Cypress Trail Hideout was near by so we decided to give it a try.
Cypress Trail Hideout is the Home of Pappa Charlie’s BBQ. Serving Texas BBQ with a Lodge like environment with indoor and outdoor seating.
The hostess met us at the door and seated us immediately.
I love their Outdoor patio seating area. Perfect when dining with kids. There is room for the kids to run around and enjoy the outdoors.
We grabbed a booth and began perusing the menu. The waiter was tied up but the hostess came back and quickly took our drink orders.
I wanted the Dublin Cherry Limeade Craft Soda. A nice cold drink.
My husband and I decided to try the Brisket Queso appetizer. The Queso included Smoked Brisket with Chili Con Queso. A cheesy dip topped with smoked brisket that is served with Chips. A great choice to start.
My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. This dish looked amazing. The Chicken Fried Steak was topped with a Jalapeno gravy on a bed of mashed potatoes and green beans on the side. Yummy.
I ordered a 2 Meat Plate. Smoked Brisket, Sausage with creamy Mac n Cheese, Green beans, bread and a side of house-made BBQ sauce.
The BBQ was well seasoned. Cooked to perfection. Served with the right sides. Delicious.
Not a fan of BBQ, No worries, the menu also includes Salads, Chicken, Steaks and Baked Potatoes.
Overall, Cypress Trail Hideout has that hometown vibe. A place that you can visit frequently and never get tired eating their slow cooked, Texas BBQ.
With a patio that is perfect for dinner with the family. A nice place to un-whine and enjoy some good food.
