If you’re going to throw a music and food festival and call it Music Tastes Good, you better have some stellar, world-class grub to match up with an epic musical lineup that features Ween and Sleater-Kinney and many more.
Well, Music Tastes Good organizers have done just that, with an amplified focus on the festival’s culinary program in 2017. This year’s “Taste Tent” will assemble some of the best chefs from around the country, for what organizers have described as a “Port-to-Port” experience, a cultural exchange of flavors and ideas between Long Beach, New Orleans, and their surrounding communities.

Chef Collin Cormier – Pop’s Poboys (Lafayette, LA) Pop’s are known for their delicious Po-boys that are served with a flair like no other.
Chef Kelly Fields – Willa Jean Serves southern dishes with fresh and local ingredients.

Presented by 89.9 KCRW, the colossal two-day, music, food and art festival takes over Downtown Long Beach’s beautiful waterfront Marina Green Park the weekend of September 30-October 1, 2017, with influential alt-rock trailblazers Ween and Sleater-Kinney headlining Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
