The kiddos have all returned back to school after summer break. My little boy recently went to his orientation for preschool and after leaving the preschool orientation we decided to grab a quick lunch at Big City Wings.
Big City Wings was on our route home so we decided to check it out. We arrived at the restaurant a little before the lunch rush.
We chose our own seats. My little boy wanted to sit in the back area near the games. Which worked out perfectly, he knew if he would eat all of his food we could play a few games before leaving.
Our waitress arrived at the table to take our drink order. We were ready and knew just what we wanted. After looking through the menu we ordered an appetizer.
The Clutch City Fries included Waffle fries topped with grilled chicken, avocado, melted American cheese, green onion, tomatoes and chipotle BBQ and sour cream. A Really good appetizer! I loved the choice of ingredients, some of my favorite toppings.
Great choice. The fries were served pipping hot. Add some Sriracha to set it off and elevate the spice level. Superb!
The Hot Wings flavors that we ordered were the Chipotle BBQ and Mango Habanero. The wings were pretty good.
The Chipotle BBQ was my favorite. Tangy with a little heat.
The Mango Habanero one was just ok for me. I would have liked a little more heat with these wings. But overall a good choice of flavors for our wings.
In addition we ordered the Cheesy Gringo Baked potato. Ok, stop the presses, this baked potato was amazing!
The Baked Potato included Mac and Cheese over an baked potato served with butter, sour cream, Cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions.
The Mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy. Mixed with all that goodness of the baked potato, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions. Amazing! Oh my gosh. I didn’t eat it all because I wanted to save some for my daughter who is a mac n cheese expert. She loved that baked potato. The best of the day!
Overall Big City Wings didn’t disappoint. The food was superb. Everything was served to perfection. The service was impeccable. I don’t recall our waitress name but she was amazing. She was training a new girl as well. But as the lead, her service was flawless. I loved her patience with my son and how attentive she was to our needs. Some waitresses don’t acknowledge the kids but she did. Great service.
Big City Wings is a great place to go and watch Sports, hang out with friends or for Family Night. Offering a variety of menu items that will cater to every one in your party. There is really something for everyone.
