My husband and I recently had a wonderful Date Night. Date Night’s are important to the success of any marriage.

We were craving seafood and decided to try HotSpot Cajun Seafood House. HotSpot Cajun Seafood House simply put is a Cajun Seafood Spot. Serving up Seafood that is Fried, Boiled, Grilled and Much More.

We arrived right before the Dinner Rush. As we entered the restaurant, I loved the look of the restaurant. From the Crawfish Crab, Fish, Fish nets hanging through out, it made me think of Louisiana.

Louisiana Cajun Culture and Love for seafood is one of the things I loved about growing up in Louisiana.

We arrived at the right time allowing us to get the coveted Sofa, Table & TV Combo seating. A must in any restaurant, so relaxing and comfortable. Perfect for a Date Night allowing my husband and I to relax from the week. Catch up with conversation over good food and of course a little football.

Our waiter arrived a little after we were seated. He was so friendly and welcoming. He took our drink orders and we didn’t take long to decide what we wanted, The Combo 2.

While they were prepping our food, I asked the waiter for a few ingredients to make us some dipping sauce for the Seafood.

Here are some of the items I used in my dipping sauce:

  • Mayo
  • Honey Mustard
  • Ketchup
  • Louisiana Hot Sauce

They had everything but regular mustard, but the Honey mustard added an extra tanginess to my dipping sauce. One day my seafood sauce will be bottled and in a store near you!

The waiter began bringing items for when our seafood would arrive, a Tray, a Bucket, Plastic Bibs, Crackers and Scissors. Yes, we were ready!!

The seafood arrived. Yum. The aroma that came from that bag was amazing.

The combo included:

  • 3 potatoes, 2 corn and 1/2 lb sausage
  • 2lb Snow Crab
  • 2lb Crawfish
  • 2lb Head-on Shrimp
  • Seasoning of choice, we did the HotSpot Special which includes Cajun seasoning, Garlic Sriracha and Garlic Butter Mild.

The Seafood was perfectly boiled. Everything was easy to peel. Seasoning was good, but I wish we would have done Hot! The level of heat was too mild for us. But next time we know.

The Seafood was on point!

Overall, HotSpot Cajun Seafood House was a wonderful choice for our Date Night. From the service, the food to the comfort of their sofa seating. We couldn’t have asked for a better Date Night spot.

We will definitely be back again for more seafood.

HotSpot Cajun Seafood is also kid friendly, a family atmosphere with some delicious options to choose from.

In addition to boiled seafood, they also have chicken wings, fried rice, gumbo and much more.
