I love a good Coffeehouse, the spot I am sharing today has been on my radar since I  found out that they were opening.

French Press is a locally owned and operated coffee company that specializes in gourmet coffee with a distinct and authentic roast in each cup.

As I arrived I loved the accent yellow that immediately caught my eye. The sign was very eye catching.

The patio was welcoming. I wish it wasn’t raining that day because I would have loved to sit outside.

As I walked in, the style of the coffeehouse was very modern.  The pendant lights really caught my eye.  I absolutely loved the wood with simple accent wall pieces brought the entire look together.

I was greeted by a sweet girl who was welcoming and immediately willing to serve me.  I began to look at the menu and decide what I wanted.  I went with a light breakfast, because I planned on working through lunch which would allow me to try their lunch.

I started with a Southern Pecan Latte which is a latte with hazelnut and caramel topped with whipped cream, chopped pecans and caramel sauce.  This coffee was delicious.  I would have liked it in a mug that was an appropriate size to my order but they only had the large one.  Which wouldn’t work for the photo.

The latte was delicious.

I ordered an order of Beignet Bites.  The beignet bites were topped with powdered sugar.  You can have the bites topped with a sauce like chocolate, caramel or strawberry.  I wanted my sauces on the side.

The beignets were superb.

They had other breakfast options like breakfast sandwiches, scones, muffins and a few other things.

One of the advantages is that French Press Coffee House has a drive-thru which is awesome.  I can’t speak for everyone but I am busy and there are times I want to grab a coffee quickly.  So this will be a great perk for me because French Press is on my route for picking up my daughter.

In addition to Lattes and Cappuccinos they also serve LA Freeze which is a frozen drink, Bubble Tea and Cream Slushes.

There is something to meet all of your drink needs.

I worked through lunch and I ordered the Soup & Sandwich Combo.

The Club Sandwich which is a turkey, ham, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard.  Served with pita chips or lays potato chips and a pickle.

For my soup, I had the Loaded Baked Potato soup.  A potato soup which was creamy, cheesy with bacon and cheese.  The soup was very flavorful.  My only criticism is that the soup could have been presented better.  Maybe a little crumbled bacon, shredded cheese and chives or parsley on top.  Other than that the soup was delicious.  Perfect for a rainy day.

To wash it all down the Very Berry Tea.  Some of the drinks are available sweetened or unsweetened.

King Cake lovers, go try their King Cakes at French Press Coffee House.

Overall, I enjoyed my time at French Press Coffee House.  The service was second to none.  The food was made to order and the coffee was delicious.  I loved that they had a variety of flavors to choose from, as well as other specialty drinks.  Also the food and drinks were reasonably priced.
