This past Saturday night we stopped in at Luna Pizza.
Luna Pizzeria is a pizzeria that serves Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches & desserts. A family friendly atmosphere with food made with fresh ingredients.
We were welcomed by a young man who told us a little about the menu. He made it easy to decide what we wanted to eat.
While we waited for our food, we grabbed a few games. Love this, especially when dining with kiddos.
The little man and I played Tic-Tac-Toe. Loved the oversize game. My husband and baby girl played Simon. Reminded me of my teenage years playing this game.
Our salad arrived first, the Chopped Salad. Luna Pizzeria has amazing salads. The Chopped Salad was delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it.
The chopped salad included Iceberg lettuce, Romaine lettuce, red cabbage, Sopressata, Kalamata olives, Provolone, Grape tomatoes, red onions, Carrots and Cucumbers. Tossed in Luna Pizzeria’s house vinaigrette. The salad that was available in two sizes, mini or small.
Time for what we really came for, Pizza of course.
We ordered the large pizza. Half pepperoni which is Pepperoni with mozzarella, provolone and Grana Padano (Italian Cheese) and the other half was the Prosciutto and Arugula. This half of the pizza included tomato sauce, provolone, sliced prosciutto, arugula, lemon vinaigrette drizzle. A really good combination.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at Luna Pizzeria. A laid back pizzeria where they want you to make yourself at home while they deliver some delicious Pies.
I love that the pizza was made to order. The salad was made with fresh ingredients. As well as the pizza toppings.
One of the other things I loved is that there was a table with games to choose from. Luna Pizzeria wants you feel at home and stay awhile.
