While at Universal Studio we celebrated my birthday. One of the best things about celebrating my birthday is eating some delicious cake or a sweet treat of some sort. This year we did something different.

We visited Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen.  Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is a sweet shop and restaurant with a cool 19th Century Steam Punk theme.

The building as you walk up was mesmerizing. I could see my kid’s eyes fixated on the building and wondering what treats would be available inside.

The structural details of the building was amazing. I love the designs. As you entered the same feel continued within the restaurant.

The goodies were the first thing we saw when we walked in.  Macarons and treats for days.

I knew exactly what I came for, one of their most Instagrammable desserts that are all over the internet. This extraordinary dessert was calling my name, Jacques’ Specialty Milkshakes.

There are a few different types like Confetti, Heavenly Hazelnut, Marshmallow Crisp and more.  We chose the Red Velvet one.

Big enough to share. The Red Velvet Milkshake included Vanilla ice cream, raspberry sauce, rainbow sprinkles, fresh whipped cream. Topped with a red velvet cupcake, more whipped cream and sprinkles.

Oh my word! Massive sweet treat. A birthday cake like no other. My husband and I shared it.  An incredibly delicious shake at the bottom in a keepsake cup that is decorated and topped with a cupcake. Delicious.

My kiddos ordered a macaron. My daughter had the triple chocolate macaron and my son had the key lime macaron.

My macaron loving kiddos approved of the macarons.

They also had cookies, cupcakes and beautiful chocolates to choose from.

Overall,  we enjoyed our time at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. If you are at Universal Studios it’s a must try place. The desserts won’t disappoint.

In addition Toothsome Chocolate also serves savory dishes. We didn’t try the restaurant but we will if we ever return to Universal Studios.
