Stopping in to send a little love to the Moms today. We are still in the midst of a Pandemic with Covid-19.
I don’t know about you moms, but there are some days, I wake up anxious. With all that is going on in the world it causes some anxiety. Then I remember that I can cast all of my cares on my Savior. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (I Peter 5:7 NIV).
Moms all over the world have been holding it down since March all day, everyday. From cooking to teaching school to cleaning and did I mention working from home.
Moms I want you to know that I see you, I am thinking of you and I am praying for you. I know that there have been some tough days. Days when you were too exhausted to think. Tired cooking meals, cleaning up after kids or just the name mom being called all day long. Some nights you don’t want to talk but just sit and enjoy some ME time.
Even if it’s just a hot bubble bath and your favorite drink uninterrupted. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9 NIV).
Now with school being out, moms are having to find ways to keep the kiddos occupied and out of trouble. From games, to movies, books, outside play activities, etc.
We have made a decision to stay close to home this summer. So we have been buying different things to keep our kids busy and preoccupied and not just on video games.
Be strong, press on, because we have a higher power, Jesus who is giving us strength to go on, to bare the burdens and the strength to press on.
On the days I find it hard, I remember that it could always be worst. I am thankful that we are healthy and doing well. Life is different and we don’t have much control over what’s going on in this world. So all that we can do is Trust the Lord!
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Remember today mom to reach back and grab the hand, maybe not physically but via text or call and check on another mom who may be struggling during this season of life. “If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up” (Ecclesiastes 4:10 NIV).
Everyone needs someone. A phone call, text message or email can go a long way. So today, make time to reach out to another mom and make sure they are doing ok. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” I Thessalonians 5:11 NIV).
