#GIFTED
As we are getting closer and closer to election, I find myself like most Americans getting more and more anxious.
Anxious because there is so much info being sent our way by the media. Both social media and the Political analysis.
But I remember that casting all my cares on Jesus as He knows what we must do and will direct us accordingly.
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (I Peter 5:7 KJV).
I am not big on Politics but within the last 8 years, I’ve found myself more consumed by what’s going on Political.
As we are gearing up for another election, I find myself praying more and more.
There is so much more to consider this year as we deal with Covid-19, Racism, Division in country and the Economy.
But one thing I that we are doing is being as informed as possible. We are not voting just on what one subject or item that a Politician does or doesn’t do. We are looking at the overall picture as well as the representation that each politician is and has shown us about themselves.
Character, Kindness, Compassion, Unity, Wisdom, knowledge are some of the most important things that we look for.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (Galatians 5:22 KJV).
Yes the economy is important but Jesus is our source and He takes care of each of us.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19 ESV).
We are praying more than we have ever prayed about who to vote for this year. It’s a big decision and we know that our world needs change and unity more now than ever.
I recommend you do the same, PRAY and VOTE. Vote what’s best for you and your family.
What might be best for my family, may not be what a friend thinks is best. But I say, be kind to one another even if you don’t agree.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32 NIV).
There is a lot resting on this decision. So everyone has to vote what’s best for their family.
I pray that the peace of God will rest on each of us as we elect the next President. God be with you all.
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV).
Remember PRAY & VOTE.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV).
