Choose Happy
It was a long week last week. I think my anxiety was at an all time high. The worry of whether we have issues with pipes bursting, extreme cold, loss of food and so much more.
Thankfully we were blessed to have mild inconveniences compared to many others.
So I won’t complain, I will be thankful.
But now that we are back to normal and moving forward and getting back to a routine. I wanted to encourage those who still find themselves in this battle and journey, Choose Happy.
Life happens for us all. I’m not saying that it’s a small matter, but I am directing you to the MASTER. The MASTER is the one who holds all things in his HANDS.
Joy, peace, happiness and trust is what He wants us to have! How?? I’m glad that you asked, He is our comforter. During rough times we are to turn to Him not away from Him.
“Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me” Psalm 31:2 NIV.
Choose Happy in spite of what things look like. Happiness is being happy and joyful in Jesus not things, not circumstances, but Christ Alone!
He commands us to cast our cares on Him for He cares for us.
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” I Peter 5:7.
We are not meant to bear our burdens alone. So whether you are dealing with Busted pipes, sickness, disease, a child that’s off course, backslidden, loss, no Matter what it is Turn to God and let Him fill you with True happiness that comes from only Him. He is our source, the restorer of our Joy, Peace, Comfort. No matter what it is, CHOOSE HAPPY.
My mom use to always say, things could be worst. Find something to smile about, count your blessings. Because guess what, this too shall pass!
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 .
