For those who maybe new here, I’m an H-E-B brand fan. I love sharing some of my favorite dishes with H-E-B products. I recently prepared a Cajun Pasta. This was an easy meal that I prepared in under 30 minutes. The recipe required only a few simple ingredients. This dish is saucy, tasty and is a cajun-ified dish.
Cajun Pasta
Ingredients:
- Rigatoni pasta – 1 bag, 16 oz.
- H-E-B Saucy Cajun Sauce – 2 jars
- H-E-B Sliced smoked sausages – 1 pack
- Graza Olive Oil – 1 tbsp
- Peeled, deveined shrimp – 1lb
- Cilantro – for garnish
- Bag of Shredded mozzarella – for garnish, optional
Directions:
- Put a pot of water boiling with salt.
- Add some olive oil to a large skillet. Once heated, saute the sausage until browned 8 – 10 minutes. Shop this large skillet here
- Once the water is boiling, add the pasta to the pot. Prepare according to package.
- Once the sausage is browned on both sides, add in the shrimp. Saute 3 -4 minutes. Stirring often.
- Add in the pasta sauce to the sausage and shrimp. Stir. Lower the heat. Stirring often. Cook for about 2 minutes or until hot.
- Drain the pasta and add to the sauce, shrimp and sausage mixture. Stir. Cook on low for 2 -4 minutes.
- Finish with shredded mozzarella.
- Garnish with cilantro.
- Enjoy.
