My hubby and I stopped in Carmelita’s Kitchen last Friday. Carmelita’s Kitchen is a Casual restaurant serving modern Mexican dishes in a family-friendly space. Located in Cypress, TX.
Here’s what we tried:
* Virgin BlackBerry Blast mocktails
* Shrimp taquitos superb! Best dish of the day!!
* MY husband tried the Fajita Bowl with pork carnitas. Not visually as pretty as the other dishes but it was good.
* I had the Brisket Quesabirria made with tender brisket with a tasty broth. Really good.
* The Chips and salsa and the bean dip was delicious as well.
Overall the food was really good. Carmelita’s has a cool vibe. A family friendly environment. Parking is a little much certain times of the day but other than that. It was a great dining experience. Our waitress was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. @carmelitastx

Baking isn’t my strong suit, but if I’m honest, I’ve never really tried. Maybe next year my goal will be to try to bake more.
I may not know how to bake, but I sure know how to find the NEW cookies in the baking section. 😂😂 I picked up the SANTA’S Cookies 🍪 by Tollhouse. I baked these last weekend for my kids. Very yummy. Served on my cute plate from Target. Pairs great with hot chocolate or milk. 😋😋 If you really want to be a big back try it with some ice cream.

I’m not a big sandwich person but I do love a good seafood or chicken sandwich. Recently I stopped in H-E-B’s seafood market for some fresh salmon steaks. I prepared this yummy Air Fried Cajun Salmon. The Salmon seasoned with Cajun Seasoning from Louisiana Fish Fry. Glazed with Spicy Honey Mustard. This was a twist on my regular salmon BLT.
Louisiana Fish Fry sent me a bunch of goodies to try and this is one of the dishes I made. Lots more coming soon! @lafishfry

Moolah has new sneaker colors. I’ve shared their sneakers before. Our teenager loves their shoes. Her top two reasons are one there is no need to break the shoes in they are ready to play in. Her second reason is they are made for women by women. Moolah understands the feet of women.
Another reason I love the shoes is because of the dual ankle support. No need for ankle guards with these. She can’t use these to play in at school because of their team shoes but she uses the Moolah Women’s Neovolt Pro v2 Basketball Shoes to train in. This is her second pair and she loves their shoes. @moolahkicks

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse used to be one of our favorite spots in Lafayette, Louisiana when we lived there. It was a great spot to watch a game, catching up with friends or enjoy one of the best desserts, the Pizookie! The pizookie is available in more than 10 flavors. Let me tell you. This dessert is delicious. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse recently opened a new location in Cypress. My crew and I stopped in for lunch after church one Sunday. Great service, delicious food and great atmosphere. I’m always big on honesty we had some issues with menu items being exact but the manager was on it.

BJ’s is a Great place to watch your favorite team(s) play.
Take your family or friends to BJ’s during the Christmas break and share a Pizookie. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The Strawberry shortcake one was 🔥🔥. Omg!! Check out the video to see what we tried.

My husband, son and I stopped in at Walk-Ons Conroe. Our daughter was playing in a basketball tournament and she was heading to lunch with her team. We decided to check out the Walk-Ons in Conroe, TX.
Walk-ons is a Sports Bistreaux. A great spot to watch games.
Here’s what we tried:

* Catfish Atchafalaya fried catfish and shrimp topped with crawfish étouffée

Growing up my cousin and I would walk to the corner store to order their Frito Pies. Frito pies was a delicious snack we would eat as a kid.
So easy. Made this for my kids last week. Great game day snack.
Fritos have come a long way, they only had the plain growing up now there are many flavors to choose from chili cheese to honey bbq to flamin’ hot. @officialfritos
The cool thing is you can cut the bag and prepare the Frito pies and serve. Fun.

Chicken wings are my favorite snack or meal to eat while watching the big game.
