Meatloaf was a classic meal that we ate as kids. I don’t know about your mom’s but my meatloaf was always paired with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Meatloaf night was switched up with this Cheesy Meatloaf. I purchased a new cheese grater to grate my cheese. I may never buy shredded cheese in a bag again. I love shredding my own cheese.

Chili is the perfect cold weather meal. Such an easy one pot meal. I took a few shortcuts with this one. McCormick’s chili seasoning pack is an easy way to prepare a delicious chili. Took me less than 20 minutes to make this chili. So easy and yummy.
Add this chili to a baked potato or a Frito pie or chili cheese wrap.

It’s a new year and I’ve taken an interest in juicing. I wanted to try it at home. I’ve always been a fan of fresh juice.
We ordered a juicer to try at home. We started off with juicing basic fruit. We juiced pomegranate juice and orange juice. Really yummy. Stay tuned more juicing videos coming.

A few weeks ago we took our son to this local Lego Shop, Bricks and Minifigs to purchase a new Lego Set. Bricks and Minifigs is located in Katy, TX. They buy, sell and trade products. They also sell minifigures, bulk LEGO pieces, new sets and more. @bamkatytx
Our son is an avid Lego builder. We spend quite a bit of money on Legos each year for him. He builds free hand as well, designing his own builds. I love that for him.

My hubby and I stopped in Carmelita’s Kitchen last Friday. Carmelita’s Kitchen is a Casual restaurant serving modern Mexican dishes in a family-friendly space. Located in Cypress, TX.
Here’s what we tried:
* Virgin BlackBerry Blast mocktails
* Shrimp taquitos superb! Best dish of the day!!
* MY husband tried the Fajita Bowl with pork carnitas. Not visually as pretty as the other dishes but it was good.
* I had the Brisket Quesabirria made with tender brisket with a tasty broth. Really good.
* The Chips and salsa and the bean dip was delicious as well.
Overall the food was really good. Carmelita’s has a cool vibe. A family friendly environment. Parking is a little much certain times of the day but other than that. It was a great dining experience. Our waitress was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. @carmelitastx
