Last week a group of Cypress Bloggers were hosted at Marvino’s for lunch.

Marvino’s Italian Kitchen is a family owned Italian restaurant. Each dish is made with quality and fresh ingredients. Dining at Marvino’s gives you an authentic Italian dining experience.

We dined for lunch in their private wine cellar which is available for booking for parties.

This Month is Hispanic Heritage Month. During this month Hispanics and Latinos are recognized for their contributions to United States and celebrate their heritage and culture.

“During this month (September 15 – October 15) the Herrara family has teamed up with the Hispanic Health Coalition, to offer a $2,000 scholarship to one deserving Hispanic student to obtain a college degree in the health professions field. 15% of every meal from their special menu will be donated towards the Herrara Scholarship”.

There are two specific menu items the Lobster Pasta and the Strip Bass.

Before I talk about the featured dishes. I want to share about some of the appetizers that we tried.

First up was some of the House made bread with olive oil and herbs. A few different types of bread, paired perfectly with the oil and herbs.

Next up was the Artichoke Dip. Creamy Artichoke, cheesy dip served with bread. A really good appetizer.

We also had some of Marvino’s Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza. The Pizza consisted of Pepperoni, Italian sausage and mozzarella cheese. This was my first time trying the pizza at Marvino’s and it didn’t disappoint. Really good.

The Marvino’s Mixed Appetizer was a hit!  This appetizer included Fried Calamari with marinara, a crab cake, Formaggio ravioli and sausage stuffed mushroom. Every single component of this appetizer was spot on! My mouth is watering again just thinking about this appetizer.

Now for the featured Entrees. The Lobster Pasta & Strip Bass.

The Lobster Pasta consist of Linguini Pasta tossed with tomatoes, green peas and Aglio E Olio (Garlic and Oil).

This dish was a crowd favorite. The ladies couldn’t stop raving about this one. I didn’t try this one. But the dish was beautifully presented.

The Strip Bass is what I ordered. This dish consisted of Strip Bass topped with Shrimp served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and a Sweet Mango Habanero Sauce.

This dish was incredibly delicious. The Sweet Mango Habanero Sauce really set this fish and shrimp over the top. SO GOOD!!!!.

Marvino’s is a Casual Italian dining option. Serving up authentic Italian dishes. A great place for lunch or dinner with family, girlfriends or for a Date Night. Marvino’s is also kid friendly.
