A few weeks ago the family and I wanted Snowballs but our favorite snowball stand was closed. There was another snowball stand that I pass daily after dropping off my foster son to Mother’s Day Out.
I kept saying, I need to try this place. Well that Sunday was the day. We headed there to find that there was a long line of people who had the same idea, Snowball Sunday.
Which was ok since we were in no hurry. We waited in line for about 15 minutes then a young lady came to the vehicle to take our order and we were given a menu, since we had never been to Brain Freeze before.
Brain Freeze is a locally owned and operated family business serving New Orleans Style Snowballs.
Brain Freeze identifies itself as the original home of the Stuffed Snowball.
Stuffed Snowballs have become extremely popular in the area over the last couple of months. I wanted to try their snowballs since they noted themselves as the Original.
The wait for the Snowballs was longer than usual. Not sure why, but the girl coming out and taking orders prior to arriving at the window helped expedite the line.
We still waited a little longer after arriving at the window.
The first one to come out was the Orange with Gummy worms which was for Baby Girl. The orange was very juicy and tasty. Right amount of syrup and gummy bear toppings. Presented well. Baby girl loved it.
My husband’s came out next, he ordered the Twilight which was a black cherry, blackberry and marshmallow snowball. Pictured below.
A very good snowball as well. He enjoyed the combination of Flavors. He ordered a 16 oz.
I ordered the Stuffed Strawberry Cheesecake. The 16 oz., Strawberry Cheese Cake was stuffed with strawberries and cheesecake inside. As well as topped with a scoop of cheesecake and strawberries and cream. Pictured below.
The cheesecake was very creamy and smooth. The ice at Brain Freeze was a little different than some of the snowballs in the area. A really good snowball.
Brain Freeze offers more than just snowballs. The menu also includes Hot Dogs, Nachos, Pickles, Frito Pies and Chips. A little snack shop as well.
The menu selection of Snowballs was massive. So many to choose from so there was something for everyone.
The snowballs are offered in 8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz, 20 oz and 32 oz.
Overall we enjoyed the snowballs. I loved the food truck and jeep color. Very eye catching. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Stuffed Snowball we’ve had but the snowballs were good. The wait was a little too long, but I guess no matter where you go this summer you should expect a wait.
The Snowball truck is moveable unlike most snowball stands. So I would think Brain Freeze would be cool for any summer events coming up in the future.

You stated it wasn’t the best stuffed snowball you ever had – any suggestions on making it the best? And that our ice is different but is it a good different or a bad different. Happy you all enjoyed them we try very hard!
Hi there. Sorry for the delay in responding. The snowball was a good different. I would have liked a little more fruit and cheesecake in my snowball. It could have been the size I ordered. But overall the snowball was pretty good. I want to try a few more flavors be looking for me this summer!!
