If you are just joining our journey through Moody Gardens, we are continuing at the Pool.  After a busy day of attractions at Moody Gardens we decided to head to the pool and relax.

The kids were so excited.  As we entered the pool area, there was a DJ at the pool playing music.

The pool was packed!  We found a spot to put our things down and the kiddos were ready to go in.

Hubby took the kids into the water.  I decided I wanted to just chill pool side at first.  The pool area had plenty of seating.

The bar area was available via swim up, by order from one of the pool side waiters or outside the pool area.

I ordered a drink and decided to check out the bridge which runs across the pool.  A  great idea.  Perfect spot to take a photo of my Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri.

There was a waterfall that was flowing from the bridge area.

Our kids absolutely loved that.

We enjoyed the pool  for about an hour or so, then had dinner.  I ordered some food for us to eat and once the food was delivered my little family hopped out.

I ordered the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings with carrots and celery sticks with ranch dressing.  The wings were a little over fried but not terrible. The wings hot sauce had a nice kick!

The hubby had the Cheeseburger served on a toasted bun dressed with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, a pickle and fries.

My husband enjoyed his burger.

I ordered the fried Gulf Grouper, Thousand Island slaw, pickles and field green salad with french fries.

This fish sandwich was absolutely delicious.

Z-man ordered the chicken tenders with fries. One of his favorites.

Baby girl ordered the grilled cheese with fries. A good choice.

After enjoying dinner we headed back to our room.  There was a movie playing in the kid area that night.  Movies are played nightly in this same area. A cool idea.

On our way to our room, we visited the Ice cream shop, Blossoms in the hotel. We decided not to get anything, but the Ice Cream shop was cute and a good idea. Blossoms offers the opportunity for guests to grab a homemade waffle cones and bowls, frozen desserts, refreshments, and other snacks available seasonal.

In addition to having a outdoor pool, Moody gardens also has an indoor pool area. The area is not too big but a nice addition to the hotel.
