As mentioned in my previous blog, Ninja Ramen is actually connected to a super cool spot called Royal Tea. Royal Tea is a teahouse that serves flavorful tea drinks with fascinating toppings and artfully crafted desserts.
As we walked in, we were blown away by the look of the place. A colorful, simple and cool spot. The teahouse had some really cool sitting options, sofas, elevated seating and traditional table seating.
We approached the counter and began looking at the menu. We placed our orders and had a seat. The lady taking our order gave us a number that would be called when our order was ready.
After being seated, baby girl noticed that there was an area with shelves of games. She recommended that we play a game while waiting. We decided to play UNO. I mean really, how can you go wrong with UNO.
We played UNO and took in the beautiful scenery of the coffee shop.
Baby girl is very picky when it comes to desserts. Since there was nothing that was strickly chocolate, she chose a simple hot chocolate. She loved the hot chocolate. The Royal Tea is in holiday mode with the Happy Holiday cups.
My stepdaughter wanted the Eggette Waffle. The waffle cones normally come with ice cream inside but she wanted just a plain waffle cone. Yes they are weird dessert eaters. But in all honesty the waffle cones actually were delicious just as is.
Me on the other hand, I decided to try one of the Light Bulbs. I had been seeing the Light bulbs on Instagram from restaurants up north. I hadn’t found a place in the area where I reside that serve the light bulbs. So when I saw it on the menu, I was super excited.
I ordered the Sweet Dreams which is peach popping boba. So good. The drink had the bubble burst with a very peachy flavor. So refreshing. I love that the bulb was plastic and I was able to take it home with me. So cute and gorgeous presentation.
The layers were separate colors until you stirred the drink. Love it!
In addition to the bulbs, The Royal Tea also serves Green Apple Tea. Green apples flavor with brewed green tea.
There was also Eggette Waffle Sundaes on the menu. With flavors like Oreo, Strawberry banana and Mango. These definitely looked amazing.
Overall our time at The Royal Tea was awesome. I wish we had one locally. This place is one of the coolest spots I have been to in a while. I am always searching for spots to chill and enjoy time to talk and share with the ones I love.
My girls and I had a good time. They loved the teahouse just as much as I did. Having the games as an option to enjoy while waiting was nice as well.
There were a variety of ages in the tea shop which said a lot about the Hip and Modern Tea House.
