We don’t eat Pizza often, but when we do, we love finding cool Pizza spots. My family and I ordered Capone’s Brick Oven to go on Christmas Eve. We were headed to look at Christmas Lights after Christmas eve service at church.
There were a lot of restaurants that were closed, but Capone’s was opened for business.
We placed our order over the phone and the food was ready when we arrived.
Capone’s is a 1920’s style bar and oven restaurant serving salads, appetizers, pizza, entrees and desserts. The food is prepared in front of the customer and perfectly cooked in a brick oven.
I’m sorry that we couldn’t enjoy our meal inside due to covid, but we do plan to dine in once all of this is past us.
Anyways, our son wanted cheese sticks so he tried Capone’s Cheese stick. The cheese sticks were huge! Cheesy goodness with a nice crust. Served with marinara sauce and ranch. Really good.
Hubby ordered the Meatball sliders. The dish included Capone’s House-made meatballs served in a tomato sauce, topped with cheese. Served on Capone’s sweet slider bread. Delicious. The bread was superb. The meatball was perfectly cooked. So yummy.
Baby girl and I wanted pizza. So she ordered the Pepperoni Pizza. The pizza was made with San Marzano tomato sauce, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella. Superb. One of the best Pepperoni pizzas we’ve had. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients.
The pizza was enough to share with the guys.
I love white pizza, so I ordered the Spicy Mexican pizza. The Spicy Mexican pizza was made with a jalapeno cream sauce, marinated skirt steak, jalapenos, pico de gallo, fresh mozzarella and topped with cilantro.
This pizza was amazingly delicious. Wow. Great flavor, spicy like I like it. Really good.
The pizza was just as good the next day!
Overall Capone’s Brick Oven was superb. The service was good. The food was made to order. Served piping hot. We loved all of our dishes.
The menu offers a variety of options to choose from. We really wanted to try the Lasagna but they were sold out.
