After church on Sundays we grab a bite to eat. This is our weekly opportunity to support local Restaurants. A fellow blogger posted about a restaurant called Preslee’s Southern Eatery. We decided to check it out.
Preslee’s Southern Eatery is a restaurant serving some of the best Southern dishes. While serving up a welcoming atmosphere and southern hospitality.
Preslee’s has counter service when you walk into the restaurant for ordering before finding a place to sit. We placed our order and looked for a place to sit. Preslee’s has both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
The inside dining room is very spacious.
We decided to sit outside. It was a nice, cool day for outdoor dining.
Preslee’s has a lovely wide opened outdoor space. The outdoor space boast of bar area, bench seating in open air as well as a playground area.
There were different types of seating that were outdoors but covered and much more. The space was massive. Perfect for dining with kids or friendly pets.
After settling in at a bench, our orders arrived. We decided to order a few dishes to share. The portion sizes were huge.
The first dish was the Brisket Mac N” Cheese. Ok this dish was mouthwatering. As soon as it arrived the aroma was so welcoming. Yum.
Our daughter is a Mac n Cheese connoisseur and she absolutely loved it.
The Brisket Mac is skillet sized with Preslee’s Famous mac and cheese topped with Smoked BBQ Brisket.
The dish was presented nicely in a black skillet. The mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy goodness. The brisket was smoked perfectly with the right amount of sauce. Delicious.
We also tried the Smoked Turkey Leg with the Mac n cheese. I’ve already talked about the Mac n Cheese. The smoked Turkey Leg was spot on. Smoked perfectly, tender and well seasoned. Really yummy.
This next dish we ordered was MASSIVE. The Chicken Fried Steak was superb. The dish consisted of a Crispy fried chicken steak with mashed potatoes, sweet corn, white gravy and toast.
We had room for dessert. My husband and I shared the house-made Banana Pudding. The banana pudding was so good. Tasted like grandma’s house.
The kiddos had ice cream.
Preslee’s had a different flavors of ice cream for the kids to choose from.
Overall we absolutely loved our dining experience at Preslee’s Southern Eatery. Preslee’s is serving up Southern Classics that are delicious. A great atmosphere, wonderful service and a family atmosphere.
