Bridgeland host an event called Friday Night Bites. This is a night filled with food from local Food Trucks, Music and an evening of Family Fun.
Friday Night Bites is held at Bridgeland Lakeland Village Center on the second Friday of every month.
My family and I enjoyed a great night of fun on last month. Here is a little about this night.
We typically arrive at start time to set up our chairs and blankets. Then we hop in line at one of the food trucks. I recommend checking out the lineup before arriving that way you know where you want to eat.
This time we stopped in at The Waffle Bus. The Waffle Bus is a Food truck that is serving up Waffle creations.
The menu for the Bridgeland Friday Night Bites was condensed for the night. Typically The Waffle Bus has much more than the items we tried.
Our son ordered the Hot Chicken Fryders. A cool creation. Made with buttermilk fried chicken bites that are on large waffle fries with the thunder sauce. The waffle fries served as the bun. The chicken fryders had a nice kick to it. Little man loved it.
Our daughter went with the Cheeseburger Fryders. The waffle fries served as the buns with the burger patties, cheese and spicy mayo.
My husband ordered the Waffle Cheeseburger. An 1/3 Black Angus Smashburger topped with American Cheese and spicy mayo. Served on a waffle. Really good.
I ordered the Chicken Thunder Fries. This consisted of seasoned waffle fries topped with buttermilk fried chicken, spicy mayo and ancho chile honey butter.
The chicken was fried perfectly topped on a bed of crispy waffle fries. The mayo and ancho chile butter was delicious together. The flavors balanced well together.
Overall the food was delicious. The service was great. The food was prepared in a timely manner.
The Waffle Bus didn’t serve dessert so we stopped in for a delicious Funnel Cake at Funnelocity. Oh man this Funnel Cake was banging!!! Check them out here
Pictured is the Strawberry Passion. Strawberries and chocolate! Funnel cake with fresh and clean strawberries, Blue Bell ice cream, chocolate drizzle, and whipped cream.
The Bridgeland Bill was walking around so the little man wanted to take a picture with him.
We ended the night with some great music.
Looking for a night of fun, check out the Bridgeland Friday Night Bites. The next one is scheduled for November 12.
Go check it out. Be sure to tell them that Da’Stylish Foodie sent you.
