Coffee is one of the things that makes me happy.  It’s simple but it makes me happy. I love creating new coffee drinks.

This blog post will contain a new brand of Coffee, Aveek that I had the opportunity to try as well as a new Coffee Creation, Twinkie Latte.

Ok, so my faithful followers all know that I love creating Coffee drinks. This one is a throwback to childhood. As a child, Twinkies were a popular snack/treat that our parents gave us.

The lovely people International Delight collaborated with Hostess Snacks who are the creators of Twinkies to make a yummy, I mean yummy Coffee Creamer.

I am sharing this on a day, a cool front has officially arrived here in Houston. I might have to make me another one and snuggle by the fireplace.

Aveek Coffee is a Fire-roasted coffee company. The coffee is fire roasted to order. Offering Single Origin coffee, Blended coffee and Flavored Coffee. Aveek shipped me some of each.

They sent me the whole bean coffee to use in my new coffee machine. I will share more on this later.

The single origin coffee is grown in a single geographic region.

The coffee blend is a mixture of two or more different origin coffee beans that are mixed together to a medium to dark roast. This one is my favorite one. It packs more of a punch. I am medium to dark roast kind of girl.

The flavored coffees start as specialty grade single-origin coffee roasted in small batches to a smooth medium. This one taste wise was good too. I love the flavored taste.

For this one I used the coffee blend.

Check out Aveek’s website here for more on Aveek’s coffee line and to shop.

  • Twinkie

  3. Froth the desired amount of milk and creamer.
  4. Pour your coffee in a mug.
  5. Then add the frothed milk.
  6. Top with whipped cream.
  7. Drizzle a little white chocolate sauce on top.
  8. Stick a twinkie on top or crumble the twinkie into pieces on top.

This is probably more of an afternoon pick me up. But it’s so good.
