Our kids loves noodles. But our daughter really really loves noodles. She tells me about all the best brands for pastas and noodles. I collaborated with her to come up with this NEW recipe.

I had the honor of collaborating with a company called Fly by Jing. Jing founded Fly By Jing in 2018. Her company was inspired by the amazing flavors of my hometown Chengdu and its famous fly restaurants— These were soulful hole-in-the-wall eateries. Chili Crisp Shrimp Noodles

Ingredients:

  • Fly By Jing Chili Crisp Noodles (4-6 packs)
  • Eggs (6 minute egg) x 6
  • Black sesame seeds (garnish)
  • White sesame seeds (garnish)
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Grilled Shrimp (1 lb)
  • Dry parsley (optional)
  • Slap ya mama seasoning (all seasoning of choice)
  • Dry Cilantro (garnish)

 

Directions:

  1. Put a pot of water on the stove. Boil. Once boiling at the eggs. Boil for 6 minutes.
  2. Season your shrimp with seasoning blend of choice.
  3. Air fry the shrimp in the air fryer for 7 – 10 minutes for 350 degrees on the air fryer setting.
  4. Add another pot of water to the stove with water. Boil the noodles according to packaging.
  5. Add water to a bowl with ice.
  6. Remove the eggs from the pot. Place the eggs in ice water. Peel the eggs.
  7.  Remove the noodles. Mix with the sauce.
  8.  Top with dry parsley. Stir.
  9.  Place 3 shrimp on top.
  10. Cut the eggs in half. *the yoke should be a beautiful color.*
  11. Sprinkle black and white sesame seeds over the eggs.
  12. Garnish with green onions.
  13. Garnish with cilantro.
  14. Enjoy.
