Galiana’s Bakery & Cafe is a family owned establishment named after the grand daughters of David Herrera’s, Gabriella and Aliana. The bakery & cafe serves made from scratch breads, desserts, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Cypress area.
An artisan bakery making pastries, breads and desserts in house daily. With a barista serving up speciality coffee, locally roasted coffee and flavorful morning joe.
The menu offers breakfast items from tacos, pancakes to chicken and waffles to lunch and dinner options like salads, sandwiches and entrees.
A few weeks ago my mom celebrated her birthday. She was in the Houston area for her birthday so I wanted to pick up a cake for her.
I’ve found some really good restaurants but not very many cake or dessert spots. I decided to try Galiana’s Bakery since it’s on our route home.
I was worried because I didn’t want to serve my mom bad cake on her birthday. But Galiana’s delivered.
I picked up a delicious strawberry cheesecake. This dessert didn’t disappoint. The cheesecake was made from scratch. Creamy, tasty cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries in a superb sauce. Oh so good!! My mom was very pleased.
We loved the dessert so much we went to breakfast two days later. As we arrived to the cafe, we walked in and was greeted by a few staff members. The waitress seated us by the window and gave us a menu.
We decided to try their fresh fruit juices for breakfast. And after perusing the menu, we quickly decided what we wanted to eat.
My mom decided to go with a simple breakfast. She ordered the Two Eggs Plate, two scrambled eggs, sausage and a single pancake. A really good choice for her.
I ordered the Galiana’s Cheddar Biscuit. This dish consisted of a Homemade Cheddar Biscuit with fried chicken, melted cheddar cheese, white gravy and bacon jam. Oh my word, I underestimated how good this dish would be. Absolutely delicious.
The bacon jam was served on the side. The jam tasted amazing on the biscuit as well as the potatoes. So good!
Overall the food was amazing at Galiana’s. The food is reasonably priced. The service was spot on. Our waitress was thoughtful, funny and observant of our food needs. I loved the atmosphere of Galiana’s, a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Definitely a place that I will visit again.
In addition to the menu items, Galiana’s also has a drive thru and a grab-n-go section.
