A few Sundays ago, my family and I stopped for lunch at Pappasito’s Cantina after church.
Pappasito’s is a family friendly restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Serving the freshest and finest ingredients for delicious Tex-Mex dishes.
We arrived after the lunch rush. The hostess seated us immediately. The restaurant had a family environment that was welcoming and comfortable.

After being seated, we began to peruse the menu. We decided very quickly. Everyone was hungry.
I started with a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri.
The waiter also bought out some complimentary Chips and Salsa.
Pappasito’s had a few new appetizers. So we tried the Crispy Pork Skins served with green Chile and White Queso. Very delicious. The seasoned pork skins with the queso was yummy.
We placed our orders and continued to enjoy our appetizer.
The little guy wanted the chicken and cheese quesadillas. The quesadilla was cheesy. My son wanted to see if the quesadilla would pass the cheese pull test. Served with rice and refried beans.
My daughter tried the cheese enchilada. Also super cheesy. Served with rice and refried beans as well.
Both kiddos loved their meals. The portion sizes were huge!
My husband and I decided to share the Fajita’s for two. Chicken and Beef Fajita’s for two. Served with fresh flour tortillas, rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, a garlic butter and sour cream.
The Fajitas were delicious. The meat was flavorful and moist. The ingredients were fresh. A really good choice. So good!
Overall, the food at Pappasito’s was superb. Everything was served pipping hot with fresh ingredients and quality dishes. The service was top notch. Our waiter was amazing.
We loved that Pappasito’s is a family friendly restaurant. The kids enjoyed our dining experience as well.
There was indoor and outdoor seating area which is perfect on those gorgeous days.
Pappasito’s Cantina has several locations. But the one we dined at is located at 13070 Hwy 290, Houston, TX 77040. The Hours of location are Sunday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
