Summer Salads are perfect for any Summer Day. I am stepping up my salad game by adding Fish and Shrimp to a simple summer salad.

Blackened Fish and Shrimp Summer Salad

It's Summer time and a nice salad is always refreshing in the midst of the heat. I have stepped it up a notch by adding my favorite seafood.

Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • Zatarian's Blackened Seasoning
  • Salmon
  • Pam Spray
  • Shrimp with tail on
  • Balsalmic Vinaigrette
  • Red Wine Vinaigrette
  • Pecans
  • Feta Crumbles
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • 1 Mango
  • Slap Ya Mama
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder

Ingredients:
  • Salmon
  • Blackened Seasoning
  • Shrimp with Tail-On
  • Mango
  • Strawberries
  • Feta Crumbles
  • Red Wine Vinaigrette
  • Balsalmic Vinaigrette
  • Pecans
  • Pam Spray
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Slap Ya Mama
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder

Directions:
  1. Season the Salmon with Blackened Seasoning. Set Aside.
  2. Season the Shrimp with Slap Ya Mama, Garlic Powder and Onion Powder. Set Aside.
  3. Spray Pan with Pam.
  4. Add Salmon skin down to the pan. Then the shrimp.
  5. Broil for 8 - 10 minutes or until completely cooked.
  6. While cooking the seafood. Prep the salad.
  7. Place romaine in a bowl. (Rinse if not rinsed prior to bagging).
  8. Peel Mango and slice. Set Aside.
  9. Rinse Strawberries. Pat Dry and Slice. Set Aside.
  10. Remove the skin of the salmon.
  11. Add Salmon and Shrimp to the salad.
  12. Add Mango and Strawberries.
  13. Add Feta Crumbles.
  14. Add Pecans.
  15. Serve salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette or Red Wine Vinaigrette.
  16. Enjoy.
