Who doesn’t love Burgers & Fries? I love a good juicy burger with fries. But I don’t eat it often because of the calories associated with it.
I was craving a burger and fries one day and came up with this yummy recipe. Burger Bowls, a healthy alternative to one of my favorite things.

Burger Bowls
Everything you love on a Burger in a bowl. I have to say, this bowl is my favorite so far. So yummy.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Ground Turkey
- 1/2 Onion Julienne
- Sliced Pickles Generous
- 1/2 Red Bell Peppers Julienne
- 4 - 6 slabs bacon Chopped
- Romaine Lettuce
- Mixed Greens
- Zeema Sweet Tomatoes Cut in half
- Slap Ya Mama Seasoning
- 3 Golden Yellow Potatoes Cubed
- Fresh Dill Garnish and in Patty
- Pioneer Woman Spicy Southwestern Dressing
- Hot Pepper Cheese Generous
- olive oil
- Pam Olive Oil Spray
- Sprinkle This seasoning For Ground Burger patties
- Onion Powder For Ground Burger patties
- Smoked Paprika For Ground Burger patties
- Granulated Garlic Powder For Ground Burger patties

I'm back with my Bowl creation. Today is all about my Burger Bowl. Here is a healthy dish that was a hit in my home even with the kids. That's a win if nothing else!
Burger Bowls
Ingredients:
- Ground Turkey
- Onion
- Sliced Pickles
- Red Bell Peppers
- Bacon
- Romaine Lettuce
- Mixed Greens
- Zeema Sweet Tomatoes
- Slap Ya Mama Seasoning
- Golden Yellow potatoes
- Dill
- Spicy Southwestern Dressing
- Hot Pepper Cheese
- Olive Oil
- Pam Olive Oil Spray
- Granulated Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Sprinkle This seasoning
- Smoked Paprika
- Peel, rinse and dice the potatoes.
- Season potatoes with slap ya mama, drizzle with olive oil and toss in a bowl.
- Add to a pan. Spray with Pam Cooking Spray Olive Oil. (I used an air fryer for my potatoes). Cook on 375 for about 18 - 25 minute or until crispy and tender.
- Season Ground Turkey with Sprinkle This Seasoning or seasoning of choice, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder and Smoked paprika and a fresh dill.
- Mix meat mixture slightly. Don't over mix. Then build patties.
- Broil patties in the oven. Approximately 12 - 15 minutes. Don't dry out. Turkey cooks fast.
- Julienne onions and red bell pepper.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towel. Set aside.
- Chop romaine lettuce to mix in with Mixed Greens. Set aside.
- Rinse and cut tomatoes in half. Set aside.
- Use the bacon grease and caramelize the onions and bell peppers. Remove from pot once translucent. Drain on paper towel.
- Chop or crumble bacon. Set aside.
- Build Burger Bowl, Mixed Greens, Romaine Lettuce, Potatoes, chopped bacon, tomatoes, caramelized onions and bell peppers, sliced pickles and shredded cheese, add turkey patty.
- Add dressing to a small serving container. Garnish with a piece of Dill.
- Enjoy.
