Stadium has a very elegant feel. My initial reaction when I walked in was that it was very nice on the inside.
Inside you will find over 30 Televisions across the restaurant. A man’s sports heaven. My husband absolutely loved it. He could watch multiple Televisions at once. Not a bad restaurant at all.
I loved the Sports Jersey’s and Football Helmets that were randomly placed across the restaurant. A good sports feel indeed. Shaquille O’Neal’s Jersey was framed and placed on the wall in the restaurant.
The restaurant was very elegant, but still maintained that sports bar feeling. Surprisingly there weren’t a whole lot of people there. But as it came closer to game time, the restaurant started to fill up more and more.
To start we went with the Fried Alligator bites. The fried alligator bites was served with jalapeno mayo. The bites were fried perfectly. The alligator must have been marinated because they were super tender. The bites included different types of alligator meat. In all honesty, this was probably my favorite dish we ate that day. I definitely recommend it.
Alligator can be tough if it is not cooked correctly. But in this case, that didn’t happen. Perfection.
For my entree, I ordered the Stuffed Pork Chop. The Pork Chop was stuffed with cornbread dressing. Served with rice and red beans. The dish was garnished with fried onions and green onions. I loved that the rice was served in a circular formation with the pork chop partially placed on top.
The Pork Chop had charred marks which I loved.
The fried onions added a good texture. The red beans were very good, creamy. But I will say that the beans were lukewarm. The plate looked like it was sitting with the beans on it while the pork chop was being cooked.
The pork chop was very good. Moist on the inside. The dressing was delicious.
Overall it was a good dish, but presentation is everything and those beans should not have look like the beans were just sitting on the plate. A fresh plate of beans would not look like that. I am a cook so I know what the plate should look like.
It is a large portion of food that is large enough to share. A very homey meal; one of my favorite dishes to cook at home.
My husband ordered the Gris Gris. The Gris Gris is a BBQ Brisket Burger. The burger is topped with a burger patty, cheese, macaroni and cheese, a slab of Brisket, Stadium BBQ sauce and fried onions. Wow is all I can say. Superb burger indeed.
The burger had several toppings but the toppings all married well together. A top notch burger. Cooked and dressed well. A little hard to handle but we dove in with a fork. Incredibly delicious burger that was served with fries but my husband ordered the steamed broccoli with spices. The broccoli was cooked perfect. A little crunch on the steam but not mushy. Good stuff.
For Dessert the Grand Slam Reese Peanut Butter Cheesecake topped with whip cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The dessert was average. I am not sure if it was made in house. At least it didn’t taste like it. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad but I think that there is room for improvement.
The dessert was very firm, so I am not sure if it is thawed and topped with the whip cream and drizzled with syrup. But it could be better.
Keagan was our waiter and he was excellent. He was knowledgeable and very helpful with the menu. His service was impeccable. The food overall was very good. We will definitely go there again. I am looking forward to bringing some friends and going watch the football game and enjoy some of the shareables.
