I am a lover of fruity drinks. So I tried the Iced Citron Honey Tea. This drink was just ok. I think if it was served over ice it would have been much better.
We tried the Appetizer Sampler, which included Pot Stickers, Shrimp Tempura, Spring Rolls and Siu Mai. The appetizer was so good. It was served with 3 dipping sauces. One of the best appetizers that I have ever had. So good. Looking at this picture has my mouth watering.
I ordered the Pho Sate Dui Bo and Gan. This is a Vietnamese noodle soup with Oxtail and Tendon. OMG, this soup was incredible. The broth they used was packed with flavor. Wow, I have never tasted any noodle soup that was so good. The soup had onions, cilantro, green onions, sliced tomatoes and noodles. The Oxtail and Tendon was cooked perfectly. Not rubbery, but nice and tender. Amazing. I highly recommended this dish.
My husband ordered the Kung Pao Chicken which was served with white rice (unpictured). The dish was spicy but very delicious. He thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The rice was steamed perfectly, it wasn’t mushy. Spicy but that’s how the dish is usually prepared. I felt like the presentation could have been a little better. But the flavor was spot on! Seasoned well, etc.
Baby girl only ordered plain noodles. It was a little too plain. It didn’t even have butter on it. I think they could have made it a little more appealing. I was a little disappointed that her dish wasn’t a little better. Simply because my dish was so good.
There were many options to choose from. The appetizers were very interesting, Chilled Jelly Fish, Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce, Crispy Fried Tofu. Zine’s Entrees varied with anything from Duck, Pork Belly, Poached Chicken. A large variety. There was something for everyone on the menu.
For Vegeterians there are many options. There is also Fried Noodles, Fried Rice, etc.
I wish we had an opportunity to try dessert, but we had an early flight. Some of the options were Red Bean Pastry, Crispy Fried Sesame Ball. Sounds amazing. We are definitely planning to dine at Zine again to try more of their choices.
Overall the service was good. The waiter was knowledgeable. The location was in a good area of the Hotel. We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant.
