Before my daughter returned to school we were enjoying some girl time together.  And we wanted to do lunch. So, my daughter and I enjoyed lunch at Union Kitchen in Towne Lake a few weeks ago.

Union Kitchen is a family restaurant that strives to unite food, friends and family. Key word being Union which means ‘uniting’. “Serving global cuisine with Southern Hospitality”.

Union Kitchen is located in the Boardwalk in Towne Lake. With outdoor waterview seating. Open air seating and covered seating located outside. As well as the traditional indoor seating.

The interior of the restaurant is very clean looking. With several different focal points within the restaurant.

The Red, Black and White color scheme inside was so pretty. I love the red booth seating with the focal wall with the restaurant’s name. Simple yet, eye catching.

We decided to sit outdoors. It was a gorgeous day!

The waiter arrived immediately to take our drink orders. I decided to have the bartender create a mocktail for me.

The bartender did an incredible job of creating a specific mocktail for me. It was delicious.

Time to try some of what Union Kitchen has to offer. We started with the Voodoo Balls. The Voodoo Balls included Country sausage, pickled Jalapeños, cheddar cheese, bacon wrapped and basted with Voodoo sauce.

Served on fried onion balls topped with green onions. Really good appetizer.

My daughter ordered her favorite The Ravioli. Cheese Ravioli with Marinara Sauce. She loved this dish. A great choice for her.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak.  A Breaded Certified angus beef steak with creamy pepper gravy. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, zucchini and squash.

This dish was comfort food on a plate. Superb.

My daughter wanted dessert. So we decided to have the Chocolate Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, powdered sugar and fresh strawberries. So yummy.

Every child’s dessert dream. Chocolate Heaven.

It was a shareable dessert, so we knocked that out together. A sweet finish to our amazing lunch.

Overall, lunch at Union Kitchen was incredible. Delicious food, a gorgeous views, good service and great company. I couldn’t ask for more.

Union Kitchen has both indoor and outdoor seating. A covered patio with fans for the hot days. The uncovered area is just as nice because they do have umbrellas if you need shade.

The menu offers a variety of cuisines. Which is perfect, because the menu is guaranteed to have something for everyone.
