The Downtown Tomball area is such a cute area. It feels like home (Louisiana) to us for some reason.
We traveled to Tomball specifically to visit our friend’s new Bakery. I will share more on that in a second, but we made a few stops before heading there.
I am a coffee lover so we stopped in for coffee at DeNovo coffee drive thru. DeNovo is strictly a drive-thru coffee shop.
We stopped in to grab a latte.
After grabbing our coffee, we headed to do a little Christmas shopping.
Thankfully we could find everything we were looking for in the area. So the shopping didn’t take long.
Now it was time for what the blog is all about ButterCup Bakery.
My husband and I are friends with the owners. We have been wanting to visit but our schedules just couldn’t align to do so. Well my husband has been off the past few Fridays so we have been checking things off that we wanted to do together while the kids were at school.
ButterCup Bakery was originally an at home Bakery. Creating beautiful Wedding cakes, cupcakes, macarons and cookies. They recently opened their very first Brick and Mortar.
Oh we were so excited.
As we approached the area that ButterCup Bakery is located, the vibes were good. Such a cute and adorable spot for her bakery. The bakery was so cute, nicely decorated and very welcoming.
We walked into the bakery and we could smell the yummy goodness of what was baking in the baking, cookies, pastries, etc.
Oh yum.
The display case was stocked with lots of delicious items like cookies, donuts, scones, cupcakes and so much more.
We looked around, chatted and caught up with our friends for a few minutes.
But quickly the steady flow of customers began to come.
It was so exciting to see the manifestation of what their dream was unfold right before our eyes.
What a blessing!
My hubby and I placed our order to go. But we also grabbed some items to enjoy outside. There was a table outside for us to sit and enjoy.
The weather outside was perfect that day. One of the reasons that this area reminded us of home was because, the people were so friendly, waving as they passed us. So nice.
My husband ordered the Apple Cider donut and I ordered the Spinach and cheese scones.
This Scone was superb! Oh man!
My husband loved the Apple Cider donut. He loved it so much, he wasn’t interested in sharing.
We ordered some items to take home to the kids.
ButterCup Bakery also has Cookies. We ordered the Snickerdoodle and the Chocolate chip. The Cookies were fresh and delicious.
In addition to cookies, they have cupcakes. OH my! Let me just say, the cupcakes were phenomenal. I am a cupcake taster expert and their Cranberry Orange Cupcake was amazing!!!
This was our favorite of everything we tried.
Superb.
The Gingerbread cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes and the Pumpkin spice cupcakes were all moist and delicious. She knows her stuff.
After enjoying some time together sitting, talking and laughing, my hubby and I headed out.
ButterCup Bakery was everything we thought it would be. Delicious treats, warm greetings and the cutest spot.
A few things to remember, get their early, because she sells out early. Also the menu changes which is awesome, because there is always something new to try. For more information visit their website.
In addition to the daily items, ButterCup Bakery also does Wedding Cakes. Gorgeous cakes and delicious.
