I can’t believe it’s almost 2022. Wow! The time has really gone by fast. As the end of the year approaches,  I am working on my final few blogs of the year. The restaurant I am writing about today is one I couldn’t let the year end without mentioning.

My family and I visited Craft Burger  back in June. I hate that it took me so long to get to this blog. But it was too good of a restaurant not to share. But hey better late than never.

Sundays are often the day we dine out as a family. We attend church as a family on Sundays and grab lunch after service.

This particular Sunday, we stopped in at Craft Burger.  Craft Burger offers a creative, chef driven menu including Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Onion Rings, Fries, Shakes and more.

The Chef/Owner is very experienced in creating amazing dishes, menu items and creative food! He was previously on Food Network TV Show Chopped as well as working at several Luxury hotels.

We arrived at the Katy location and were thrilled to finally be able to check it out.

As we walked in, we immediately noticed the Katy, TX wall art. The yellow walls which was bright and welcoming.

The menu board was near the register, but we found the menu on our phone. I think the board needs to be away from the register so people can have time to choose before approaching the register. This will allow the process to move alone quickly. Or they should have a QR code for menu pull up. Just a suggestion.

Anyways, we decided on what we wanted to order and placed our order.

Once we placed our order we chose a seat outside and our food was brought to the table.

We started with the Chicken Fried Cheese Curds. Made with white cheddar cheese curds that was battered and fried. Served with a spicy ranch dipping sauce. Oh so good. The cheese curds were perfectly fried. This appetizer also included fried jalapenos. This was a delicious appetizer.

Our son and daughter both ordered the Kids Cheeseburger. We eat out a lot as a family and I have to say this was the most delicious looking kids cheeseburger I have ever seen.

The Chef took as much thought in this kids burger as he does for his regular burgers. I love that, because many people just put things on the menu for the kids but don’t give much thought.

The kids loved the Cheeseburgers. They look awesome and taste great.

We also ordered the Loaded Fries. The Loaded Fries were made of Crispy fries, Cheddar Cheese, Green onions, Bacon, and Buttermilk Ranch on top. Perfectly fried French fries with a generous portion of toppings. Really good.

My husband ordered the Truffle Butter Juicy Lucy. This burger was glossy, juicy and cheesy. Oh my gosh. Mouthwatering. Made with all natural Black Angus Beef, truffle butter, smoked gouda cheese, lettuce, tomato and truffle mayo. A Superb, flavorful burger.

I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. This sandwich was on Food Network. Made with a juicy, fried, all natural chicken thigh, lettuce, tomato, avocado and bbq sauce. Delicious.

A Visually appealing sandwich. This sandwich tasted like a honey mustard chicken sandwich. The bbq sauce had a hint of honey and mustard to me. Incredibly delicious. Definitely stood up to the hype.

At this point, we were thoroughly impressed with Craft Burger. Is it possible to be more impressed? Hmm, YESSSS!

The shakes at Craft Burger are to die for. Mouthwatering, delicious, creamy goodness. OMG!!

We all shared the Confetti Milkshake. This milkshake was incredible! Visually appealing. A dessert that my entire family loved. The cake was so moist and perfect. The milkshake was creamy with the right texture and consistency. So good!!

Overall this was one of the best spots we visited this year! The service, food and vibe was top notch. Chef and owner Shannen Tune has an incredible vision and has culinary wisdom that will allow this restaurant to continue to thrive.

The food was delicious. Every single dish we ate was prepared perfectly and executed sophistically.
