We are recently off an amazing cruise with Royal Caribbean. I will share an extensive blog about this trip really soon. But today, I am sharing about our port stop at Cozumel.

We’ve been to Cozumel a few times on previous cruises so we decided to sleep in and enjoy a slower start to the morning that day. We left the cruise ship at about 10 or so.

The water was gorgeous.

There were lots of shops to explore. We explored a little, then ventured outside of the area we entered. I have to be honest some of the shopping was good some not so much. But it depends on your taste. It wasn’t our kind of shopping.

After about an hour of shopping we stopped for lunch before heading to the cruise ship. There were two really cool spots right on the water. We decided to stop in at Tequilia A Go Go. Tequila A Go Go was cute and very welcoming.

Loved the vibe of the restaurant. Though we don’t drink and didn’t participate in that aspect of the drinking but the restaurant food was really good.

The water views were spectacular. The weather was perfect for it. A bit overcast but there was a nice breeze.

Here’s what we tried:

We started with the table-side street corn. This was a cool experience. We’ve had table-side guacamole, but never street corn. The street corn was delicious.

We also tried their specialty lemonades and I had the frozen virgin strawberry daiquiri. Really delicious and refreshing.

In addition to refreshing drinks we tried the chips, queso, salsa appetizer. The presentation was perfect. The chips and dips were delicious.

The Tequilia A Go Go trio sampler was superb. The  trio sampler included Fried fish, fried calamari and chicken tenders and fries. A great option if you are looking for shareable items.

We couldn’t leave without trying the Churros. Serving piping hot. The Churros were superb. Topped with caramel and served with ice cream.

Tequila A Go Go is a popular stop for many cruise ships. There were about 4 cruise ships at this port. Be sure to stop in and check it out. I promise that you won’t be disappointed. Lots of areas for great photos.
