Golden Steer has new seasonings , the Lemon Pepper Spice Blend and the Salt and Pepper Seasoning Blend. I used these two in my NEW recipe, “Seafood Pasta Salad”. This pasta salad is so easy to make and it can be made ahead of time on busy nights. The perfect 30 minutes or less meals.
The Lemon Pepper Seafood Spice Blend Seasoning is my favorite seasoning by Golden Steer. This spice blend is “Inspired by the tuxedoed waiters of the Golden Steer, Bowtie Seasoning is a lemon pepper-based seasoning blend, perfect for seafood. The bright citrus of fresh lemon zest harmonizes with the subtle warmth of cayenne, creating a symphony of flavors that add a distinguished touch of heat to salmon, chicken, and shrimp”.
Seafood Pasta Salad
Ingredients:
- Lemon pepper spice blend – generous amount
- Salt and Pepper seasoning blend – generous amount
- Spicy Brown Mustard – 12 oz
- Mayo – 22 fl oz
- Cooked Shrimp Extra Small (defrosted and drained) – 1 bag
- Jumbo Lump crab meat – 8 oz
- Imitation Lobster – 6 – 8 oz
- Twirls Pasta – 1 pack
- Celery (sliced into smaller pieces) – 1 stalk
- Dill (a hearty portion)
- Onions (diced) – 1/2
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Colorful Bell peppers (diced, red, green, yellow, orange) – 1/4 of each
- Worcestershire sauce (a few dashes)
- Sweet pickle relish – 1 tbsp
- Smoked paprika – 1 – 2 tbsp
- Romaine lettuce (whole, remove the big leaves , wash and pat dry)
Directions:
- Put a pot of water boiling. Add salt and a little olive oil. Once boiling. Cook the twirls pasta according to the package. Drain and set aside.
- Drain the shrimp.
- Season the shrimp with the lemon pepper seasoning blend. Set aside.
- Add the lump crab to a bowl. Separate the lump crab. Season the lump crab with the salt and pepper seasoning blend.
- Dice the onions, bell peppers, celery. Set aside.
- Use the scissors with dill. Generous amount. Set aside.
- Take the imitation lobster, cut into smaller pieces.
- To a bowl add the desired amount of mayo and mustard, smoked paprika generous amount. Stir.
- Add in the diced onions, celery, bell peppers. Stir.
- Add in the twirls pasta. Stir.
- Add in the fresh dill. Gently mix.
- Add in the sweet relish.
- Add in the shrimp, jumbo lump crab and imitation crab.
- Gently mix.
- Place the washed leaves, 2 on top of one another.
- Add the seafood pasta salad on top.
- Sprinkle a little more of the lemon pepper season blend.
- Finish with the green onions.
- Enjoy.
