Friday was our kid’s last day of school and we decided to celebrate with dessert! They were so ready and we couldn’t agree more!
We were going to go to one of our regular spots but we stumbled on Gooey’s Ice Cream Sandwiches.
“Gooey’s Ice Cream Sandwiches is a unique ice cream sandwich shop. Not the traditional ice cream sandwich, but an ice cream sandwich made with fresh baked cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, donuts or waffles, with your favorite toppings. If not in the mood for getting gooey, then you can order a milkshake or a dozen cookies for the family.

It was a cold afternoon, but we love Ice Cream whether it’s cold or not.
As we entered the ice cream shop, the wall on the right caught my eye with the Gooey’s Sign. Super cute, colorful with the ice cream sandwiches and bubble letters. Adorable and eye catching.
We perused the menu and quickly decided what we each wanted.
Baby boy is pretty simple he went with the Blue Monster Ice Cream with gummy bears on top. It was yummy in his words.
Baby girl ordered the Chocolate Chip cookies sandwich. The sandwich consisted of two chocolate chip sandwiches with chocolate ice cream. Chocolate goodness in her words. The sandwich was massive. She couldn’t finish it all.
I ordered the Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich. I love Warm brownies and ice cream. So good!
I really wanted to try their pie and ice cream. But they only had sliced pecan pie or whole pies.
My husband ordered the Holey Moley. The Holey Moley consisted of 5 warm donut holes, two scoops of ice cream, one topping, and whip cream, topped off with a warm caramel drizzle and a cherry! Oh my gosh! This dessert was incredibly delicious. My husband devoured that dessert. It was addicting. He couldn’t stop eating it.
Overall Gooey’s Ice Cream Sandwiches was a cool spot. It’s a great spot to bring your kiddos, family or to hang out with friends. The desserts were all really good. We will definitely visit again.
