One of the good things about being home over an extensive period of time is that I have created so many great recipes.

Today I am sharing about a company called Briggs True. Briggs True is a Texas based company.

I first tried Briggs True after picking up a few of their items from a Farmer’s Market in Towne Lake. I created some lovely dishes with their products.

Briggs True is a Texas based company. Briggs True Texas Sauces and Seasoning company.

Briggs shipped me a few of their products and I created a few dishes with the products.

Here are a few of their products from the Briggs Line:

Spicy Bourbon BBQ Sauce “This spicy handcrafted homemade tasting sauce will make you know you’re alive from love at first bite. Enjoy it on pulled pork, ribs, meatloaf, chicken breast, chicken wings, as a dipping sauce, in your recipes or to “fire up” anything you put in your mouth. From Carolina to Texas everyone will enjoy our Briggs True Burbon Bacon BBQ Sauce”.

With the BBQ sauce I made:

  • Air Fryer Chicken (Killer good), recipe coming soon!
  • Sliced BBQ Sausage Sandwich

Briggs True Cowboy & Cajun Seasoning, “Cowboys are naturally found on the back of horses chasing cows. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t spice up their life with a little bayou flavor. Add Bayou zest to Cajun fried turkey, gumbo, chicken, seafood, steaks or anything you want. You’ll agree gator hunters have nothing on Cowboys”

With the Seasoning I made:

  • Cajun Salmon & Shrimp

Recipe coming soon!!!

Briggs True Texas Mustard, “Kicked-up version of the good ol’ yellow stuff. If you like a little EXTRA kick, this sauce is your dream come true“.

With the mustard, I created:

  • Fried Chicken bites with Mustard Coleslaw and A honey mayo. Check out the recipe here!

The chicken bites were quite simple.
  • Take the chicken tenders and cut into bite size pieces.
  • Season the chicken with your seasoning of choice. I used slap ya mama.
  • Add flour to a dish.
  • Add the egg to a dish. Beat the egg. Season with a little more slap ya mama.
  • Add the chicken to the egg wash. Shake off excess.
  • Add to the flour mixture. Shake off the excess. Fry in a deep fryer for 3 - 5 minutes. The pieces are small, so they won't take long to fry. **Note: Once it floats on top it's done. **
