Friday my husband and I took the day off to enjoy the beautiful weather.

One of our vehicles needed to be service, so after dropping the kiddos off we headed to the dealership.

Infiniti provided us a Loaner car until the vehicle was ready.

After dropping the car off, we headed to CityCentre to have lunch and do a little shopping.

We stopped in at Williams Sonoma to check out some of the new products. I was also on the hunt for a new Clear Olive Oil Bottle.

Williams Sonoma had some gorgeous new products. I picked up a few things, but no clear Olive oil bottle.

After leaving Williams Sonoma we headed to find something to eat. CityCentre has so many options for dining to choose from.

My husband and I were in the mood for Mexican, so we decided to try Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen.

Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen is a world-class, family owned, Tex-Mex restaurant with made from scratch dishes.

Cyclone Anaya’s has a lovely patio area to dine outside. The patio was well shaded and perfect for the Fall weather.

We chose a table to dine. The menus were all available online due to Covid.

After we were seated our waitress came to the table. She dropped off some of the house-made Tortilla chips and Salsa.

The Chips and Salsa were so delicious. Spicy salsa with the right amount of heat. Served with Crispy chips.

Tortilla Soup is one of our favorite soups. We decided to share a bowl of the Tortilla Soup. Roasted chicken in tortilla broth, a white cheese blend, avocado, sour cream and tortilla strips.

The soup was flavorful and tasty. A perfect bowl of goodness on a fall day.

My husband ordered the Trio of Shrimp Dishes.  The dish included A Camaron A La Parilla, a crispy shrimp taco with Spicy coleslaw and enchilada Del Mar, served with cilantro rice and black bean soup.

The shrimp was wrapped with bacon and stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños. Topped with a sauce. The shrimp was spicy and cooked perfectly.

The enchilada was topped with yummy cheese and topped with tomatoes, green onions and seeds.

The dish was incredible according to my husband. I didn’t try any of his food, because I loved my dish so much.

But he really enjoyed it.

I ordered the Salmon Jalisco.  This dish consisted of fresh open Atlantic Salmon topped with two blackened jumbo shrimp glazed with Jalisco sauce. Served with vegetables and cilantro rice.

This dish was delicious. Everything was fresh. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The Jalisco sauce was flavorful. I am not much of a squash and zucchini eater but the veggies were seasoned well and had nice grill marks.

Overall, we loved our time at Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen. The atmosphere was laid back and chill. The service was really good.

The location is convenient and has an incredible view on the patio.

The food was superb. Everything we ordered was fresh and nicely presented.

Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen is located at 800 Town and Country Blvd., Houston, TX 77024.
