Happy Monday! Kickstart your week with this new recipe on the blog, “Chicken Caprese”.
This is an easy, healthy recipe. I used Chicken thighs instead of chicken breast in this recipe. This recipe consist of a few simple recipe ingredients.
I picked up a new product to try, Kumato tomatoes. Kumato tomatoes are a simple, unique brown tomato.
Chicken Caprese
Ingredients:
- Kumato Tomatoes (sliced)
- Balsamic Vinegar (generous amount)
- Fresh Basil (for garnish)
- Fresh Mozzarella (sliced)
- Chicken thighs (six)
- Slap ya mama seasoning (desired amount)
- Smoked paprika (desired amount)
- Garlic Powder (desired amount)
- Salt and pepper (optional)
Directions:
- Season the chicken thighs with slap ya mama, garlic powder and smoked paprika.
- Add to the chicken thighs to the air fryer.
- Set the air fryer to the air fryer setting match cook, and set it to 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking, slice the kumato tomatoes.
- Slice the mozzarella cheese.
- Layer the tomatoes and cheese on one side of the plate.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken thigh.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
- Garnish with fresh basil.
- Enjoy.
